Keith, Elaine

Elaine Keith, age 72, of Rogers, AR, the wife of Wesley J. Keith, retired pastor of the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church, died Saturday, December 21, 1996 at a local hospital. She was born to Sam and Anna Halbert Stanberry on June 2, 1924 near Danville, AR and lived in California for 30 years before returning to Arkansas 23 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church and the New Hope Community Club.

She is survived by husband, Wesley J. Keith; two sons, Tom J. Keith of Bentonville and Wesley D. Keith of Searcy, AR; one daughter, LaRhonda Murphy of Napa, CA; one brother, Alfred Jack Stanberry of Danville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral service was December 24, 1996 at the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church in Little Flock with Elder Don Farris, her pastor, Elder Hugh Sears, of Springfield, MO and Elder Bill Kendrick officiating. Keith, Era Dora Rutledge

WALDRON - Mrs. Era Dora Rutledge Keith, age 78, of Waldron, died March 15, 1984 in the Mercy Hospital at Waldron. Mrs. Keith was a native of Chickalah Mountain; and the daughter of the late Issac and Elanora Holmes Rutledge. She was a member of the Primative Baptist Church, and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jesse Keith of the home, two sons, Jesse, Keith Jr. of Union Town, and Wesley Keith of Rodgers; three daughters Pricilla Horn of Danville, and Emma Woodard and Evia Clemonds of Waldron; 19 Grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Jessie Walker Keith, age 94, of Waldron, formerly of Yell County, died Sunday, October 28, 1984 at Mercy Hospital at Waldron. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, Jessie Keith Jr. of Uniontown and Wesley Keith of Rogers; three daughters, Priscilla Horn of Danville, Emma Lou Woodard and Evie Clemons of Waldron; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Keith, Mytilty Fay

Mytilty Fay Keith Age 74 of Russellville, Arkansas died Sunday, August 20, 2000 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born December 20, 1925 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to the late Thomas and Flora Belle Horn. She was a member of the Pottsville Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Keith, a daughter, Sandra Keith, and a granddaughter, Denise Brown.

Survivors are her nine sons; Charles, Larry, Dewayne, Elmo, Mark and Richard Keith, all of Russellville, Roger Keith, Atkins, Timothy Keith, Scottsville, Cecil Keith, London, five daughters; Carmella Cook, Center Valley, Sharon Titsworth, Dover, Connie Craig, Barbara Keith, and Linda Miller all of Russellville, Sisters, Ethel Huffman, California, and Ada Axley, Oregon, 32 Grandchildren, and 44 great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, August 24, 2000, 10:00 A. M. at the Pottsville Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Mike McNeely and Rev. Mary Ledford officiating. Keith, Quenton

Two men Killed In Car-School Bus Collision Near Here - Two men were killed and several children injured Tuesday when a car and school bus collided head-on about 1 1/2 miles west of Danville on Highway 80. The accident happened about 3:30 p. m. C. M. Haston, 70 and Quenton Keith, 25, both of Waltreak, were dead upon arrival at the Yell County Hospital.

School children admitted to the hospital were Joan Tidwell, 7 Clinton Kimbrough, 7; Rickey Wilson, 10 Billy Donnell, 11; Betty Bowerman, 15; and Betty Pruitt, 15. All were released after treatment for facial cuts and bruises. Raymond Pruitt, driver of the school bus, was treated for cuts and bruises and released.

Pruitt said the car, driven by Keith, was in the middle of the road when he saw it and that it swerved into his path, although he pulled over to the ditch trying to avoid the collision. State Trooper Bob Pritchard, who investigated the wreck credited Pruitt's driving with saving the 30 children on the bus from serious injury or death. The bus traveled 66 feet after the impact, stopping in the ditch but without turning over. The car was knocked 33 feet backwards by the impact and was a total loss. Quenton Eugene Keith, aged 25, died Tuesday, April 29, 1958 near Danville. He lived at Waltreak and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Keith, Wesley J.

Wesley J. Keith, 83, of Rogers, Ark. a widely known Primitive Baptist elder and the retired pastor of the Little Fock Primitive Baptist Church of Little Fock, Ark. died of lung cancer at his home Saturday, November 8, 2003. Elder Keith died peaceable in the presence of his wife, children, daughters-in-law and most of his grandchildren.

Elder Keith was ordained to the ministry at Madera, Calif. in 1955 and served Primitive Baptist churches in California, Arkansas and Missouri. He and his late wife, Elaine Stanberry Keith, moved to Rogers in 1974 to accept the pastoral care of the Little Fock Primitive Baptist Church. He was also retired from the Mare Island Naval Shipyard at Vallejo, Calif. where he was involved in the building of nuclear submarines. Elder Keith was born near Blue Ball in Scott County, Arkansas to Jesse W. and Rhoda Mai Jones Keith on January 8, 1920 and lived most of his early life west of Danville in Yell County in the area known as Dutch Creek. He and Elaine Stanberry were married from September 2, 1937 until her death in 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Rutledge Keith, of the home; a son, Tom J. Keith and daughter-in-law, Henri R. Keith, of Bentonville; a daughter, LaRhoda Murphy and son-in-law, Thomas R. Murphy, of Napa Calif. a son, Rev. Wesley D. Keith and daughter-in-law, Katie Keith, of Searcy; three sisters, Priscilla Horn, of Danville, Emma Woodard of Waldron, and Evie Clemmons, of Waldron; one brother, Jesse Keith of Crawford County; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Sean Keith, Monty Murphy, Brian Murphy, Larry Oates, Paul Lindsey and Don Miller. Rev. Charles Eugene Keller, 83, of Oppelo died Thursday, April 25, 2013. Charles was born April 14, 1930 in Cord, AR to the late Buel and Hattie Pearl (Hobbs) Keller.

He is also preceded in death by wives Doris Ellen Rodgers Keller and Ruby Nell Longhorn Keller; four brothers; two sisters and stepson, Clarence Handley. Mr. Keller was an Assembly of God minister for over 50 years. He served in Korea from 1946-1949 in the US Army.

Ira T. Keller, aged 72, of Ola died Monday at the Yell County Hospital in Danville. He was a businessman, retired timber contractor and a native of Alabama. He was a former resident of Russellville and a member of the Ola Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mena Walker Keller; a son, Marvin D. Keller of California; a daughter, Mrs. Doyal Branson of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Rubie Viola Keller age 87 of Russellville died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born May 6, 1923 at Ross, Minnesota to the late Erick and Olga Naslund Nordvall. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Russellville.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ursle Lee Keller; a daughter, Linda Jean Keller and a great grandson, Samual Auston Keller.

Survivors are her five children and spouses, Gene and Marain Wilburn of Toronto, Canada, Jim and Jill Keller, Howard Keller, Lori and Allen James all of Russellville, John and Bernie Keller of New Blaine; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Reba Darnell Kelley, age 81, of Alexander passed away on December 4, 2012 at her home. She was born February 12, 1931 in Parker County, Texas. Reba was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Elders and Eva DeBusk Elders.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Willie N. Kellow, Judy Ann

Funeral services for Judy Ann Kellow, 72, of Houston, will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor D. Nick Sholars officiating.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Miss Kellow was born October 14, 1942, in Lufkin to Paul Kellow and Annie Mae (Taylor) Kellow, and died Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Lufkin after a brief battle with brain cancer. She graduated from Lufkin High School in 1960 and from Texas Women's University in 1964 with a B.H. Degree in history/government. She received her M.A. Degree in government from the University of Houston/Clear Lake City. Miss Kellow was a very devoted and caring teacher for 47 years. She taught in several school districts, but mostly in Deer Park and Pasadena, Texas, where she made many friends. Teaching was her life. She always kept up with her graduates and their successes. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling in the States and other countries and sharing her adventures with family and friends. Miss Kellow had resided in Houston for a number of years and was a former resident of Lufkin.

Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Paula and David Rusk of Lufkin; nephews and wives, John and Christine Rusk of College Station and Michael and Ronda Rusk of Katy; niece, Erin Rusk Ivins of Lufkin; 6 great nephews and one great niece that she loved dearly. They are Reese Rusk, Reed Rusk, Matthew Rusk, Peyton Rusk, Garrett Ivins, Bella Ivins and Brody Ivins; aunts, Lola Will Taylor and Mary Nell Taylor, both of Lufkin, Maydee Kellow of Danville, Arkansas; numerous cousins, friends, and special friend, Jerry McClain of Houston.

Miss Kellow was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be John Rusk, Michael Rusk, Reese Rusk and Matthew Rusk, John Lee Slaughter and Jeff Taylor. J T Kelly, age 72, of Dardanelle, AR died Friday, February 25, 2000 at his home in Dardanelle, AR. He was born September 2, 1927 in Townley, AL to the late Joe T. and Bena Holley Kelly. He was a Korean War Veteran, retired after 23 years for General Motors Corporation in California and then was a supervisor for Morrison and Knudson Construction Company in the Building of the Saturn Plant in Springhill, TN. He was a member of the local Mill Wright Union in Russellville and the Roger-Rye VFW Post 2283 in Russellville.

Survivors are, his wife of 47 years, Juanita Hall Kelly; one son, James T. Kathryn Veronica Kelly, age 73, of Lebanon, Missouri, died Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born February 8, 1943, in Georgia. She was a member of the Grace and Glory Life Center in Lebanon. She loved animals, especially her cats and dogs. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald David Kelly Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Michael David Kelly Sr (Marci) of Russellville, Donald David Kelly Jr (Rita) of Ola; Daughters, Colleen Luckiesh (Bennett) of Ohio, Donna Gillies (Glen) of Russellville, Kitty Gaskins (Stacey) of Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Michael David Kelly Jr, John Kelly, Melissa Kelly, Anthony Kelly, Christopher Kelly, Staci Aslakson, Tiffani Gillies, Veronica Gaskins, Christi Gaskins, Pam Meeks, Nikki Johnston, Kaylynn Johnson, Harley Emery, Kayla Birdwell, Christina McKenna; twenty two great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayland C. Kemp and a daughter-in-law, Judy Martin Kemp.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Carroll R. Kemp of Danville and Wesley B. and Sharon Ann Kemp of Alma; two grandsons, Carroll R. Kemp II of Los Angeles, CA and Wesley B. Kemp II of Fayetteville, AR; a granddaughter, Caroline Kemp of Alma; one brother, CA. Ramer, Jr. of Fordyce; two sisters, Nevene Chandler of Crossett and Bobbye Thomas of Plumerville.
