Taylor, Brandy Deann Mooney And Son Dilan Chandler

Brandy Deann Mooney Taylor of Sheridan was born on August 2, 1976 in Pine Bluff, the daughter of Kenneth and Brenda Wiggins Mooney. She died on December 10, 2004 from injuries in an auto accident near Sheridan at the age of 28. She was a housewife and mother and of the Pentecostal faith. She lived in the Yell County area with her parents and worked at Anthonys and JC Penny in Russellville.

Survivors include her husband, Brent Taylor of the home; a step-son, Nathan Cole Taylor of Sheridan; a stepdaughter, Emily Nicole Taylor of Sheridan; her parents, Kenneth Mooney of Sheridan and Brenda and Larry Lawrence of Sheridan formerly of Ola; her grandparents; Raymond and Sallie Harp Wiggins of Sheridan.

In addition, also injured in the accident was her son, Dilan Chandler Taylor who was born on October 15, 1997, the son of Brent Taylor and the late Brandy Mooney Taylor. He died on December 10, 2004 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 7 years. He was a first grade student at Poyen Elementary School.

He is preceded in death with his mother.

He is survived by his father; paternal grandparents, Carroll and GenNell Lunsford Taylor of Grapevine; maternal grandparents, Kenneth Mooney, Brenda and Larry Lawrence all of Sheridan; maternal great-grandparents, Raymond and Sallie Harp Wiggins of Sheridan; a step-brother, Nathan Cole Taylor and a stepsister, Emily Nicole Taylor.

Funeral services were held on December 13, 2004 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with the Rev. Wendall Magar and the Rev. Steve Cypert officiating. Burial was held in Hedden Chapel Cemetery near Grapevine. Pallbearers were Matt Cotton, Brandon Cotton, Harold t. Cotton, Kevin Bryant, Mike Roberts, Danny Cotton and Mike Freeman. Taylor, Buel E.

Buel E. Taylor, age 60 of Danville, AR died Thursday, December 1, 1988. He was a native of Rover, AR, son of the late Henry and Freda Smith; Taylor and a retired carpenter.

Survivors include three sisters, Vira McLeod of Texas, Cenith Murphy of Danville and Hazel Demaret of Texas.

Taylor, Curtis "Opey"

Curtis "Opey" Taylor, age 6 of Havana, died Friday, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

He is survived by his parents, Perry Taylor of Searcy, AR and Dana Taylor of Havana, AR; sister, Peyton Taylor, Havana; half brothers, Jessie Lynn Taylor and William Perry and Crystal Taylor, Searcy; Grandparents, Melba Taylor, Searcy, Gary and Jaquita Greenfield, Havana; Great Grandparents, Curtis and June McClellan, Hattiefield, Jewell Overton, Lonoke; several Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by a favorite uncle, Bobby Cooper.

Funeral Service was July 30 at Havana First Baptist Church with Brother John McCourt and Reverend Jeff Smith officiating. Burial was in Havana Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Ryan Dawson, Dan Apple, Brian Keys, Junior Foster, Matt Carpenter, and John Walker. Taylor, Dennie

Mrs. Dennie Taylor, age 75, passed away at the home of her son, Pete Taylor, in Harkeys Valley, Tuesday afternoon, after a long illness. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Baptist church, and had lived in Yell County all her life.

Survivors, other than her son, are three sisters, Mrs. N. B. Rutledge, of Banch; Mrs. G. C. Palmer, Italy, Texas; Mrs. W. R. Tucker, Dardanelle Route 2; three brothers, H. C. Harkey and Wilson Harkey, Weber Falls, Okla.; and J. P. Harkey, Dardanelle. Also surviving are four grandchildren.

Taylor, Donald Edward

Donald Edward Taylor, age 69 of Perryville, died Saturday, January 8, 2005 at the Veterans Regional Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on January 3, 1936 in Sumner, Iowa to Allen and Agnes Genevieve Destival Taylor. He served two tours in Vietnam, earning the National Defense Medal, Bronze Star and Rifle Meret Awards. He was a 32 degree Mason, member of the Veterans of Foreign War, the Perryville First United Methodist Church and the UMM Breakfast Group.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Spinks Taylor; two daughters, Angela Paulus and Doreen Gillen and seven grandchildren. Memorial service with Masonic Rites was held on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at the Perryville First United Methodist Church. Taylor, Francis J. "Frank"

Francis J. "Frank" Taylor, age 87 of Havana, AR died Friday, July 16, 1999 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born March 1, 1912 in Waldron, AR to the late Melton Sylvester and Katherine Hail Taylor. He was a member of die Assembly of God Church and a farmer.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Jeff and Rube; four sisters, Carrie Ilee, Lizzie and Pearl.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Lucille Bratton Taylor; two sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Joanne Taylor of Havana, AR and Harold and Annie Taylor of Fresno, CA; two daughters and son-in-law, Thelma and Charles Redman of Fresno, CA and Ruby Guillet of Akron, OH; one sister, Clare Wright of Porum, OK; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services were July 20, 1999 at the Assembly of God Church in Havana with the Rev. E. O. Tackett officiating. Taylor, Gary F.

Gary F. Taylor, age 49, of Dardanelle, AR died on September 13, 1997 at home. He was a poultry farmer, army veteran and member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by one son, Gary Don Taylor of London, AR; his parents, Louie Taylor of Poteau, OK and Pauline Forrester of London, AR; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Don Martin of Poteau, OK and Karen and Gary Johnson of Ft. Taylor, James "Jt"

James "JT" Taylor, 82, of Dardanelle, died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Dardanelle Nursing Center. Born December 17, 1923 in Chickalah, he was the son of the late Henry and Ada Green Taylor and was a retired school bus driver for the Dardanelle School District and a farmer. He was an army veteran and a member of the Chickalah Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Ward Taylor; son, Thomas Taylor; brothers, Floyd Taylor, Boyd Taylor; sisters, Arlevia Smith, Sylvia Bates and Etta Slatten.

Survivors include a son, Sammy Taylor of Dardanelle; two daughters, Martha Owens and Colleen Lievsay both of Dardanelle; a sister, Etta Vorene Waid of Dardanelle; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral was held Monday, January 16, 2006 at Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle with Gene Littleton officiating. Burial was in Dacus Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home. Taylor, John William

John William Taylor, age 79, died at a hospital in Holdenville, Okla., July 22, 1954. Mr. Taylor, the son of Thomas W. and Frances Kennington Taylor was born in Scott County and came to Yell County with his parents where he lived until 1916. He then moved to Holdenville, where he has lived since. He was a member of the Baptist church.

The funeral services were conducted in the Baptist church at Holdenville, with burial in Holdenville cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, the former Jennie James, one son, W. H. Taylor, of Texas, one daughter, Mrs. Clares Wildey, of Holdenville, one brother, H. J. Taylor, two half brothers, Shorty Taylor, both of Dardanelle, and Delbert Taylor of Belleville, and one half-sister, Mrs. Phebe Williams of Kalamazoo, Mich., and by several grand children and great grandchildren. Kaylee Dawn Taylor, age 7 days, died Tuesday, December 18, 2001 at the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, Don Doshier, her paternal great-grandfather, Ira Taylor and a maternal great grandmother, Opal Doshier.

Lorraine Rose Taylor, age 75, of Belleville, AR, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 1997 at St. Edwards Hospital in Fort Smith, AR. She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin December 20, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Minnie Derga.

She was the widow of Edward Richard Taylor and preceded in death by a son, Edward Taylor.

Thomas Samuel Taylor, age 72, passed away at his home, Dardanelle, Route 2, Sunday evening after an illness of about two weeks. Mr. Taylor was actively engaged in farming until the latter years of his life.

Taylor, William Henry

William Henry Taylor was born near Lankford, Alabama in 1859, where he grew to manhood and married Miss Judy Richard. Shortly afterward they moved to Arkansas, in 1887, where he spent the remainder of his life. The past few years was in the home of his youngest daughter, Mrs. Pearl Haston of Waltreak, where he passed away on March 21st, 1949 lacking until the 10th of April being 90 years old. He lived in Havana for more than 40 years and served as an Elder in the Church of Christ during all this time.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Mina Evans of Louisiana, Mrs. R. A. Baker, Arkansas, Mrs. C. M. Haston of Waltreak, Mrs. Julius Weldon, Ft. Smith, and Mrs. Chester McBride, Havana; 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Services were conducted in the Church of Christ in Havana Tuesday with Brother Frazier, Ft. Smith and H. D. Jackson, Havana officiating. Burial was in the Havana Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive and his father, Wilburn Taylor.

He was a WWII Army Veteran, a cattle & poultry farmer, and Belleville School Board Member serving 35 years.

Jack Taylor, School Board Member for 35 Years, Dies - William L. "Jack" Taylor, age 90, of Belleville, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. Taylor served 35 years on the Belleville School Board, one of the longest tenures, if not the longest, on a school board in Yell County. He was instrumental in working with longtime Belleville Superintendent George Cowger in the development of major improvements on the Belleville campus and in the merger of the Belleville and Havana School Districts in the 1980's. William L. "Jack" Taylor, age 90 of Belleville, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born August 26, 1917 in Belleville, AR to the late Noble J. and Sallie E. Smith Taylor. He was a WWII Army Veteran, a cattle & poultry farmer, and Belleville School Board Member serving 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Lee Blaylock Taylor; son Roy Noble Taylor; brothers Hubert, Leonard and Glynn Taylor; sisters Olive Reynolds, Nell West, Ann Pledger and Hazel Pledger.

Survivors include son & daughter-in-law Lynn & Barbie Taylor of Maumelle, and eight grandchildren. Funeral service was Tuesday, December 4th at the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Stapleton and Rev. Richard Falbo officiating.

Burial will be at the Russell Cemetery in Belleville. Pallbearers were Harlon Patton, Mike Patton, Don Bland, Dale Knight, Kenny Jackson and Mitchell Tharp. Teague, M.

M. Teague, aged 67 years, expired suddenly at 6:30 at his home here last Thursday evening, death being due to heart failure.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Chas. F. Wilkins, Friday afternoon, the remains being interred in New Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Teague had not been well for several days prior to the fatal attack, but was able to be up and about and his condition was in no way regarded as serious. With his family he came to Yell County in 1917 from eastern Arkansas. He was a quiet, industrious, honorable man and his death is deeply deplored by all who knew him.

Mr. Teague is survived by his wife and five children: Robert Teague, Cleveland Teague and Mary Teague, of this city; Mrs. China Martin, of Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Ida Adams, of Russellville. Mrs. Theodocia Teal, age 86, died in her home on Cedar Creek, Monday May 31, 1948, after many months of illness. She was born and raised at Cedar Creek and lived there all her life.

Tedder, Carrie Adams

Mrs. Carrie Adams Tedder, age 80, of New Bethel died at her home November 29, 1948.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John Freeman at the New Bethel Church, Tuesday afternoon. She came to Yell County from Georgia at an early age.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Tedder, and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Denney of Culver City. Telaar, Ina Floyce Allen

Ina Floyce Allen Telaar, 84, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in the Methodist Nursing Home in Fort Smith. She was born to Rash and Liller Potter of Bluffton in January 1921. She was a member of Karis Restoration in Van Buren.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, along with first husband, Glennard H. Allen, and second husband and five brothers.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Chuck Stephens of Fort Smith and her son, David Allen of the home. Additional survivors include a brother, Doyce and wife Butterfly Potter of Bluffton, a brother, Verlon Potter of the Kingston community and a special sister-in-law, June Telaar of New Jersey four grandchildren six great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted March 11 at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. With the Rev. Ross Devers officiating. Interment was in a private interment at Woodland Memorial Park. Tennison, Wanda Jean

Wanda Jean Tennison, 62, of Duncanville, TX, formerly of Danville, died Friday, February 17, 2006 in Lancaster, TX. She was born in Gorman, TX to Luther Parsley and Modine Wallace. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Duncanville. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in baseball, basketball and stock car racing.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step father, Modine and Riley Tucker; father, Luther "Dub" Parsley; a son, Kenny Tennison; daughter-in-law, Michelle Christian; sister, Joann Stamper, and granddaughter, Cassie Dawn Christian.

John Edgar Terrill, age 69, died at his home in Plainview on February 16, 1958. He was a native of Mo. and had lived at Plainview the past four years. He was a retired waterworks engineer and a veteran of World War I.

Terrill, Mary Julia

Mary Julia Terrill, age 98 of Plainview, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at Mitchells Nursing Home in Danville. She was born October 3, 1909 in Herendon, Kansas to the late Lorenz and Julia Fazekas Gotl. She was a school teacher in Kansas and moved to Plainview when her husband retired in 1953. She was a member of the Towner Colorado Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Edgar Terrill, a brother and four sisters.

Survivors include son John Edgar Terrill Jr. and wife Carolyn of Waldron, daughter Johnna Phillips of Plainview, granddaughter Linda Buddemeyer of Plainview, great-grandson Johnathan Hurley, great-granddaughter Carlie Buddebeyer.

Terry, Geniece

Geniece Terry of Muskogee, OK formerly of Havana, AR went home to be with the Lord April 9, 2001, three days short of her 81st birthday. She was the first of four children born to Artemus Montgomery and Pearl (Mott) Kennedy. She married A. T. Terry January 23, 1936. She will be remembered for her love of family, gardening, sewing and her gift of hospitality.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, A. T.

She is survived by two brothers, J. H. and Loy Kennedy of Ventura, CA and Dump and Lena Kennedy of Havana, AR; a sister, Maggie Helen and Jim Morris of Little Rock, AR; three daughters, Doris and Larry Clover of Walton, KS, Delores and Al Dillard of Muskogee, OK, Darlene and Jack Stanberry of Talala, OK; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Service was held April 13, 2001 at the Assembly of God Church in Havana, AR. Thacker, Jeroma "Jerry" Shamblin

Jeroma "Jerry" Shamblin Thacker, age 86 of Russellville, a former resident of Danville, died Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born September 1, 1916, at Tulsa, Oklahoma and was a daughter of the late Thomas William and Neenah Jackson Shamblin. She was a stenographer for the Department of Human Services and was a member of First Baptist Church in Danville.

She was the widow of the late Cecil Thacker and was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom Shamblin, Jr. and a sister Mona Shamblin.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Dana Thacker of Russellville; two grandchildren, Marc and Anna El-Kilani of Russellville.

Funeral service was Friday, February 7, at Shinn Chapel, with Rev. Joel Cooper officiating. Burial was in Earl Ladd Cemetery, near Danville, by Shinn Funeral Service.
