Bradford, Bacel

Bacel Bradford, 36, of Russellville, AR, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 21, 2006 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. The son of George and Dora Jane Adcock Bradford, he was born November 28, 1919 in Pottsville, AR. He was retired from United States Air Force as Master Sergeant and WW II veteran. A member of the American Legion, the DAV and the Gold Prospectors Association. He was a member of the Plainview Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Denver, Norman, and Doyle Bradford; two sisters Neva Bradford Dorothy Warren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years Martha Lois Peeler Bradford; one son, Ronnie Bradford of Russellville; one daughter, Dolores Bye of Plainview; two grandchildren; a twin brother, Macel Bradford of Marlow, OK; two sisters, Jane Rhine of Dardanelle Betty Reynolds of Russellville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Monday at Humphrey Chapel with Jim Bob Humphrey officiating. Burial was in New Bethel Cemetery at Plainview by Humphrey Funeral Service. Bradford, Doyle

Doyle Bradford, 87, of Dardanelle died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, at Dardanelle Hospital. The son of the late George and Dora Jane Adcock Bradford, he was born March 30, 1917, at Pottsville. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War receiving the Bronze Star and the Croix de Guerre medals for his service. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and First Baptist Church at Dardanelle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Anthony Bradford; a son Doyle Bruce Bradford; two brothers, Denver and Norman Bradford; and a sister, Dorothy Warren.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Bradford of Dardanelle; two brothers, Macel Bradford of Marlow, Okla. and Bacel Bradford of Russellville; two sisters, Betty Parker Reynolds of Russellville and Jane Rhine of Dardanelle; and many nephews and nieces.

Memorial service will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Dardanelle with the Rev. Milton Cowling and Rev. Marty Thomas officiating. Bradford, Lillian

Mrs. Lillian Bradford, age 64, of Dardanelle died Sunday, December 8, 1985. She was a native of Tabler, Okla. daughter of the late Claude and Jewell Malone Anthony. She was a member of Marion Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and Michigan Avenue Baptist Church at Chickasha, Okla. and Plainview Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Bradford.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Bradford; a daughter, Sue Bradford of the home; a brother, Melvin Anthony of Chickasha; a sister, Anita Cabler of Bartlesville, Okla. and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral was Tuesday at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville with the Rev. Tony Berry. Burial will be Wednesday (today) in Rose Hill Cemetery at Chickasha. Bradley, Charlie C.

ARKADELPHIA - Charlie C. Bradley, aged 86, of Bethlehem (Clark County), a retired merchant, died Saturday. He was born in Garland County and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Roper Bradley; two sons, Manuel Bradley of Blakely and James Bradley of Hot Springs; a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Pierce of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Anderson of Hot Springs and Mrs. Tina Tate of Pine Bluff, and three grandchildren.

Ila Fay Davis Bradley, age 89, of Ola, Arkansas died Friday, February 16, 2002, at the Yell County Nursing Home in Ola. She was born August 28, 1912, in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Marion George and Ada Gossett Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Bradley; brothers, William McKennely Davis, Raymond Davis, Dewey Davis; sisters, Doll Davis, Elizabeth Davis Damon, and Alean Davis Damon.

Survivors include one brother, Otto Davis of Maderia, CA; a sister, Ider Poppy of Stuttgart, AR; several nephew and nieces.

Graveside services were Tuesday, February 19, 2002 at 2:00 p. m. at Chalybeate Springs Cemetery near Danville with Brother Stacy Lisenbey officiating. Bradley, Robert M.

Robert M. Bradley, 71, was killed by a car at Sunset Beach, Calif. April 1, 1954. He was married to Avis Housley and to this union nine children were born.

Roy Bradley, age 48, of Dardanelle died Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. A son of the late Roy Alfred Bradley, Sr. and the late Jane T. Vanwinkle Bradley, he was born February 8, 1959, in Modesto, CA. He was an employee of VEI Construction Co. in Russellville.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Bradley.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Bradley III of Atkins, and Daniel and Jonathan Bradley, both of Pottsville; a daughter, Jessica Bunton of Atkins; his ex-wife, Joann Savage of Atkins; four brothers, James O. Bradley of Oklahoma, Donald Keith Bradley of California, Joe Dale Bradley of Dardanelle, and Boyd Hunter of Pottsville; two sisters, Sheryl Hellmer of Russellville, and Cora Sue Prime of California; and six grandchildren.

Terri J. Bradley, age 50, of Hot Springs, AR died Sunday, June 17, 2007 in a local hospital. She was born February 9, 1957 in Hot Springs, AR.

Paul Bragg, age 65, of Danville, AR died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. He was born July 13, 1941 in Russellville, AR the son of the late Milton Bragg and Erma Freeman Bragg Ferguson. He was a carpenter and a member of the Russellville Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Robert Bragg and a sister, Naomi Clark.

Margaret "Pauline" Bramlett, age 94, of Prairie Grove, AR died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Prairie Grove Health & Rehab. She was born August 16, 1913 at Tolu, Kentucky, the daughter of James Coleman & Alma Jacobs Minner. She was an employee of the University of Arkansas & a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Bramlett, twin sister Irene Williams & two great-great-grandchildren Abagayle & Gauge James.

She is survived by, a daughter, Bobbie Jean Harris of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Helon Hale Branch, age 90, of Russellville, died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Center. She was born September 25, 1914 at Scottsville, AR to the late Tolbert & Lou Ross Hale.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Harl R. Branch a brother, Thomas Hale and sister, Lucille Ford.

Branch, James Thomas

James Thomas Branch, age 77, passed away May 12, 2009 in Tulsa, OK. He was born January 23, 1923 in Little Rock, AR the son of William Matthew Branch, Jr. and Elma Mary Branch. He lived in Plainview, AR and moved to Owasso, OK in October 2007 where his daughter resides. He was a member of the Hilltop Church of God in Plainview for over 20 years. The Hilltop Church of God was established in 1951 when his father donated the land for the church. He played a vital role in getting the church built and the community spent many hours raising money for the church. He played the piano for over 7 years each Sunday and a plaque still sits over the piano dedicating the piano in his name for his many years of service to the church. He loved nature, animals and all the beauty created by God. He married Bonnie Lou Cunningham Branch on January 20, 1956 and later divorced. He was a loving father and a wonderful friend to many. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by four children, Cindy Andrews of Alexander, AR, Cathy Deases of Owasso, OK, Steve Branch of Plainview, AR and David Branch of Gilbert, AZ; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren which he loved dearly; sisters, Marjorie Elma Asbury of Lake Forrest, IL, Mary Alyce Brown of Bentonville, AR; one brother, William Matthew Branch III of Perryville, AR; eight nieces and two nephews.

Joseph Sidney Branch, age 73, of Paris died Wednesday afternoon, June 20, at the Dardanelle Hospital. He was a retired Freewill Baptist Minister, a native of Stafford Community, the son of the late John and Ada Horn Branch and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nettie Anderson Branch; two sons, Loyd Branch of Paris, Billy Branch of the West Coast; and one daughter, Miss Marion Branch of the West Coast; three sisters, Mrs. Nora McClanahan of Porterville, CA, Mrs. Mattie Morrison and Mrs. Eva Burries of Norman, OK and several grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church Friday morning at 10 o clock with the Rev. Autry Davis, and the Rev. David King officiating. Nettie Helen Branch, age 83 of Paris, died Sunday, August 21, 2005 at Paris Health and Rehab Center. She was born July 17, 1922 at Clearwater, KS to the late Gus and Claudia Sides Anderson. She was a member of the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Belleville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.S. "Bud" Branch and a son, Sidney Louis Branch.

Survivors are one son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Betty Branch of Subiaco a granddaughter, Molly Branch of Subiaco and several cousins.

Branch, William (Bill)

William (Bill) Branch, 80, of Perryville died Friday, April 16, 2010. He was born in Huntley, Montana July 24th, 1929, son of the late William and Elma Mead Branch. He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked for Perkins Sprinkler Company for 45 years.

He was preceded in death by a brother Tom Branch.

Survivors are one son, Alan Branch; two daughters, Carin Sloss (Jerry), Lori Owens (Aubrey); two sisters, Marjorie Ashbury and Mary Alice Brown (Bill); four grandsons, Brad Bull (Rachel), Alex Crowder (Andrea), Tim Crowder (Jessica) and Rob Hotchkiss (Beth); one granddaughter, Stephanie Rhoads; eleven great-grandchildren; the mother of his children Jane Aldridge; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Sassy.

Genesis "Gengen" Irene Brand, age 3, of Briggsville, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born March 13, 2007, at Harrison, AR.

Brand, Geneva Pauline

Geneva Pauline Brand, age 66 of Danville, died Sunday, December 22, 2002 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born in Kennett, Missouri on August 27, 1936, daughter of the late Harold Harm and Ella Mae McNew Litaker. She was a mother and homemaker, and retired from Wayne Poultry in Danville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Brand; a stepson, George Brand; a stepdaughter, Betty Abernathy; and a sister, Lola Burrows.

Survivors include three sons and daughter-in-law, Jackie Brand, Roger and Laurie Brand, of Danville, Keith Brand of Havana; three stepsons, Emmanuel Brand of Club, Missouri, Ronald Brand of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Larry Brand of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; four step-daughters, Edna Hargate of Rockford, Illinois, Virginia Abernathy of Lacenter, KY, Peggy Corneilson of Osceola, Florida, Dian Keenan of Rockford, Illinois; a brother, Buck Litaker of Danville; two sisters, Pearlie Graddy of Burbon, Missouri and Freeda Carter of Kennett, Missouri; three grandchildren, Barry, Tabatha, and Ryan Brand of Danville; several nephews & nieces.

Brandao, Carlos Lopez

Carlos Lopez Brandao, 17, of Sao Paulo, Brazil, died Saturday, October 7, 2006. He was born March 31, 1989, in Spain to Carlos Lopez Brandao and Olga Pereira. He was an East Lab Technology Apprentice, a member of the Dardanelle High School Senior Class of 2007, Delaware First Baptist Church Youth Group, and was a foreign exchange student through INTO Edventures exchange program.

Survivors include father and mother, Carlos and Olga Brandao; two sisters, Paloma and Luna, all of Sao Paul, Brazil; a host of other family members in Brazil and Spain; foreign exchange parents, Paul and Tera Farnam; two host brothers, Zac Treadway and Daniel Zierke; and one host sister, Calyx Farnam, all of Delaware.

Branham, Christine

Christine Branham, Age 68 of Belleville, died Wednesday at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was born in Blue Ball, AR on June 1, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Clifton and Leona Garner Millard. She was a Meme to the children at Meme's childcare in Belleville.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Patty Millard, Sandy Millard and Odessa Cravens Massey and a brother, James "Blue" Millard.

Survivors are her husband of 32 years, Ray Branham; a son, Tim Wagner of Waldron; a daughter, Sue Wheelis of Belleville, two step-daughters, Marsha Rosenberg, Enila Fitzpatrick; a step-son, Chuck Branham of IL; a sister, Debbie Whala of Bluffton; a brother, Quince Millard of Danville; step-sisters, Melba Riley, of Hector, Gail Brown of Fort Smith, Juanita Barnett, of Waldron; step-brother, Odis Grimes of Russellville; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.

Lonnie Brannam, age 48 of Dover, AR died Monday, October 19, 1998 at Sparks Regional Medical Center at Fort Smith, AR. He was born September 7, 1950 in Yell County, a son of the late John Henry Brannam. He was a pipefitter and welder and a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union 155 at Little Rock.

He is survived by his wife, Joetta Key Brannam; a son, Zacharias Brannam of Dover; a daughter, Tammy McElfish of Dover; his mother, Bessie Wilson Brannam of Dover; two brothers, Henry Brannam of Jasper and Paul Cleaver of Dover; two sisters, Pauline Scantling and Lamoine Brannam of Dover; and two grandchildren, Nathaniel and Kaitlin McElfish of Dover.

Mrs. Ottis Ester Brannam, age 91, of Russellville, AR. died Tuesday, February 9, 1999 at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, AR. She was born April 11, 1907 in Yell County, Arkansas to the late Eck and Callie Mobley Hood. She was a homemaker and mother.

Jimmie Anderson Brannon, age 80, of Rover, AR died Friday, March 23, 2001 at her home in Rover, AR. She was born December 31, 1920 in Rover, AR to the late James and Sarah Gladden Anderson. After 30 years of service with North American Rockwell, California Division, she retired in 1970. She was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church, Eastern Star, and an honorary member of VFW Lady Auxiliary.

Brantley, Vicki Suggs

Vicki Suggs Brantley, age 56, of Alanson, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 21, 2007. She was born in Russellville, AR on November 6, 1951 to C. E. and Wanda Suggs and was raised from an early age by her step-mother Hermonyne Suggs. She graduated from Fuller High School and entered school to become an X-ray technician and worked in this field for more than 20 years. She married David Brantley in July 1975. He became a full-time senior pastor in 1981 and she assumed the role of first lady in three churches. She did medical transcriptions for more than 12 years in the Petoskey area.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother and a brother, Harold Suggs.

She is survived by her husband, David; a daughter and son-in-law, Chelsea and Luke Nixon of Bourbonnais, IL; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Edie and Chris Hedge of College Station, TX; step son, David II of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Bill Dickey of Belleville, AR; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Donna Suggs of Belleville, AR and Randy and Linda Suggs of Little Rock, AR; several nieces, nephews and other family and a host of other brothers and sisters in Christ, along with her Alanson Church of the Nazarene family.

Walter G. Brasher, 75, Little Rock died Saturday in a Little Rock nursing home. He was a retired insurance agent and former county clerk of Yell County. Mr. Brasher was a member of the 2 Baptist church, Little Rock. He was a native of Dardanelle and had lived in Little Rock for 30 years.

Brasier, Marie "Nana"

Marie "Nana" Brasier , age 94, of Little Rock, peacefully went to her heavenly home on April 3, 2008. She was born in Bluffton, Arkansas on January 10, 1914 to the late J.W. and Bertha Downen. Marie was a beautician for over 60 years having owned her own salon and later working for Plaza Towers for 30 years before retiring. She was born and raised in the Baptist Church and never failed to miss her Wednesday Church Service at Briarwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Marie enjoyed traveling, crochet, fishing or just going to the lake but she was most happy in the presence of her family and friends from the beauty shop. In her later years , she especially enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren.

Marie was survived by her daughter, Betty Mabry and husband Jerry of Little Rock; grand daughters; Shawn Olsen and husband Buddy of Maumelle; Michele Meadors and her husband Mark of Little Rock, great grandchildren, Connor and Brandon Olsen and Mabry and Elizabeth Meadors.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Norman and Wayne Downen, and sisters Louise Cloyd, Clementine Holobaugh, Pansy Reed, Elaine Brooks, Ina Ruth Holland, and Lenora Minor.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday evening at Ruebel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday Morning at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle.

Brasier, Roy

Roy Brasier, age 70, of California, died March 16, 1998 in Suisun, CA after a lengthy illness. He was born September 9, 1923 in Belleville, AR. He was a former resident of the Bay Area, Vacaville, Lake County and Plainview, AR. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was a long-time member of the Western Houndsman Association and a life-long horse owner and fancier. In his younger years, he worked for the JeDel Arabian Ranch in Pinole, CA. He was a member of the International Machinists Union.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Janice; his brother, Hayes and his sister, Janelle Johnson.

He is survived by three sons, Ron of Michigan, Ted of Vacaville and Curt of Upland; three daughters, Vicki King of Roseville, Betty Decious and Cathy Brasier both of Fairfield; a brother, Lloyd of Clearlake; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ann James Bratton age 94 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at her home. She was born May 12, 1912 at Powetan, West Virginia. She was a retired Culinary Chef for the West Minister Presbyterian Church in Bluefield, West Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thaddeus William Bratton.

Survivors include a daughter, Annette Wilkins of Dardanelle; one grandson, Thaddeus Wilkins of Dardanelle; three great-grandchildren, Monica Lee Wilkins, Michaela Ann Wilkins, and Sarina Lynn
