Rose, Joseph David

OLA - Joseph David Rose, age 75, of Ola died Saturday, June 21, 1986 at St. Mary's Hospital at Russellville. He was a native of the Waltreak community, a retired sawmiller and son of the late Edward and Lillie Woodall Rose. He was a member of the Ola Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include three sons, James Rose of Dover, Earl Noblett of Belleville and Harold Noblett of Danville; five daughters, Sylvia Emery, Jocie Ross and Rachel Burfield of Ola and Mamie Rogers and Betty Morse of Belleville; two brothers, Ott Rose of Ola and Marshall Rose of Danville; two sisters, Allie Ishom of Nashville, Tenn. and Ivey Anderson of Tulsa, Okla. 39 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p. m. Monday, June 23, at the Ola Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Jerry Schlinker. Burial will be in Chlybate Springs Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service of Danville. Rose, Marshall "Pete"

Marshall "Pete" Rose, age 90, of Ola, AR passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born November 6, 1920 in Boles, AR to the late Edward and Lillie Holt Rose.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Clara Mae Black Rose; brothers Joe, Oscar, Ray and Fay Rose; sister, Iva Anderson.

Survivors include, his wife, Eula Mae Bice Rose; adopted children, Ben Rose of Danville, Glen Rose of Guyman, OK, James Rose, Russellville, AR, Carla Deloose of Moline, IL; step children, Randy Owens, Mary Ann Furry and Jimmy Owens of Missouri; nephew and caregivers, Carroll and Linda Rose of Ola; sister, Allie and Jack Isham of Dierks, AR and several other special nephews and nieces.

Rose, Rachel Ann (Hutchens)

Rachel Ann Rose, 70, of Russellville, passed away on March 4, 2015 in Little Rock. She was born March 7, 1944 in Lawrence, Kansas to Roy Riley and Tressie Miller Hutchens. She was a member of Ola Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Brian Rose.

She is survived by her beloved boyfriend, Dean Stewart; three sons and four daughters-in-law, Steve and Christie Rose, Ronnie and Susan Rose, Richard and Hayley Rose and Donna Rose; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the Shinn Chapel. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Park and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Rose, Robert J.

Robert J. Rose, age 86 of Belleville, died Friday, March 13, 2009 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born November 14, 1922 in Aledo, IL to Marie Jackson and Robert Baldwin Rose. He was a WWII Veteran. He was a retired steel mill and Wilson Wood employee. He enjoyed old-time fiddling, watching sports and keeping up with the Danville Little Johns.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Sarah Christmas Rose; two daughters and son-in-law, Janey Davis and Jacky Gagne of Belleville, Janet and Jeff Brotherton of Russellville; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Deirdre Rose of Russellville; one stepson, Ricky Christmas of Dardanelle; five grandsons, CJ Davis, Trent and wife, Samantha Davis, Channing Rose, Taylor Rose, and Todd Christmas; one sister, Doris Witterbrongel of Mesa, AZ.

Sarah Christmas Rose, 75, of Belleville, died Thursday, October 27, 2011. She was born February 28, 1936 at Rose Creek, Arkansas, to Charley and Bertha Fitch Christmas. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 41 years Robert; four sisters and one brother.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter in-law, John and Deirdre Rose of Russellville and Ricky Christmas of Casa; two daughters and one son in-law, Janey Davis and fiance Jackie Gagne and Janet and Jeff Brotherton, all of Russellville; one brother Verlen Christmas, of Casa; two sisters, Rachel Gilmore of Russellville and Dean Williams of Dardanelle; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Rose, Serene Orlene

Serene Orlene Rose age 90 of Ola died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. She was born March 21, 1920 at Driggs, AR to the late Elcie D. and Ida Paxton Burnett She was a retired employee of the Yell County Nursing Home and had been a member of the Ola Assembly of God Church since August of 1942.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ott Rose; son, Troy Rose and a daughter, Tressie Holland.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law. Coy and Leona Rose; a son-in-law, Tommy Holland; a daughter-in-law, Faye Rose; twelve grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Roseborough, Mabel Irene

Mabel Irene Roseborough, age 86, of Havana. AR, died Thursday at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. She was born August 31 1919 in Havana, AR, a daughter of the late Daniel Tolbert and Elna Hesoline DeRossitte Dixon. She was a retired Postal Service worker and aircraft industry employee. She was a member of the Yell County Historical Society and a community news writer for the Yell County Record.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; a brother Harold Alvis Dixon and a sister. Grace Evelyn Wilcox.

Survivors include a son, Roy David Roseborough of Longview, TX; a sister, Selma Faye Comer of Alexandria, VA; three brothers, James Henry Dixon of Sand Springs, OK, Raymond Eugene Dixon of Stigler, OK and Boyd Arnold Dixon of Beggs, OK; grandchildren, John David Roseborough of Austin, TX and Rebecca Ann Crabtree of Lumberton. TX.; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Nadine Rosenkranz, 77, of Dardanelle, AR, formerly of Russellville, died Thursday, September 15, 2011 at her home. The daughter of O.H. and Cardila Welcher, she was born August 21, 1934 in Russellville, AR.

She is survived by a son, Rudy Rosenkranz, Jr. of Dardanelle; one brother, Richard Franklin Welcher of Russellville; three sisters, Mary Duvall, Thelma Nordin and Judy English all of Russellville; an aunt, Imogene Chapman of Russellville and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Mrs. Dona Ida Davis Ross, age 80, of Little Rock, formerly of Yell County, died Tuesday, January 13, 1987 at Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock. She was a native of Havana, widow of Silas Ross, daughter of the late William and Ida Holman Davis, and attended First Assembly of God Church at Little Rock.

Survivors include four sons, S. J. "Red" Ross of Formosa, Billy Joe Ross of Benton, Bobby Gene Ross of Grandview, Mo. and James Dale Ross of Conroe, Texas; a daughter, Onedia "Sis" Ross Dickens of Little Rock; two brothers, Joe and Jack Davis of Havana; a sister, Ola Davis Tennis of Winton, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

H. M. Ross, age 76, of Morrilton, father of Annie Pearl Morris of Dardanelle, died Saturday, January 10, 1987.

Ross, James (Jim) Dale, Sr.

James (Jim) Dale Ross, Sr., age 68, of Conroe, Texas, formerly of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010. He was a Vice President and Cashier at Worthen Bank, a partner and consultant of Profit Technology, consultant at Arthur Anderson and self-employed as a private bank consultant. He loved the Razorbacks and baseball which he played for many years. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Rader Ross of Conroe; a son, Jim and Tina Ross of Little Rock; a daughter, Karen Ross of Little Rock; a son, Chance and Deana Deere of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Maddie, Anna and Isabella Ross of Little Rock and Owen and Ella Deere of Houston, Texas; three brothers Red and Kaye Ross of Little Rock, Bill and Juanell Ross of Little Rock, and Bob and Lynn Ross of Kansas City, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Vera Elsie Ross, age 89 of Booneville, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at the Oak Manor Nursing Home in Booneville, Arkansas. She was born in Waveland, Arkansas on April 15, 1913 to the late Joseph Lee and Hattie Tapp Taylor. She was the oldest living member of the Havana Assembly of God Church. She was a mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Ross; two brothers, Alva Taylor and Iva Taylor and two sisters, Florence Catlett and Dora Harmon.

Mrs. Annie Rossi, age 75, of Conway, mother of Mrs. Pat Woodson of Dardanelle, died Tuesday, September 2, 1986 at Conway Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Conway, widow of Tony Rossi and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Conway.

Survivors also include another daughter, Mrs. Mary Hiegel of Conway, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11:30 a. m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery by McNutt Funeral Service of Conway. Roulston, Henry Clay

Henry Clay Roulston, age 74, of Delaware, AR died Thursday, October 21, 1999 at his home. He was born July 31, 1925 in Delaware, AR to the late Elmer S. and Jessie H. Jay Roulston. He was an Army Veteran and attended the Assembly of God Church. He worked for Wilson Packing Company in Oklahoma City, OK and then moved to Arkansas where he worked for Matt Cook Auto as a paint and body shop-man for 27 years and then worked for Riverside Furniture until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David Roulston and a sister, Belva Corona.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Farmer Roulston; two sons, Murphy Roulston of New Blaine, AR and Randy Lee Roulston of Delaware, AR; two sisters, Ivey Viola Keys of Wichita, KS and Ollie Mae Pike of Lewisville, TX; two grandchildren, Clayton Lee Roulston and Kristi Dawn Roulston both of Russellville, AR and a special friend, Candy Wilson of Delaware.

Miss Reva Ruth Roulston, age 66, of Dardanelle, AR died Wednesday, February 4, 1998 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Center in Russellville. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle.

Rounsaville, Armittie "Mittie" Marie (Garner)

Mitty Marie Rounsaville, age 73, Atoka, died January 10, 1972 in the Atoka Memorial Hospital, as a result of heart failure. Mrs. Rounsaville was born in Nacona, Texas, June 16, 1898. She was the daughter of Samuel Reed and Mary M. (Cooper) Garner. She came to Oklahoma from Texas in 1913 and had resided in Atoka County for 45 years. She was married to Delbert H. Rounsaville, December 25, 1916 at Boggy Depot, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atoka.

Bonnie Jean "Moie" Rounsaville, age 73, died December 28, 2000 in Coos Bay. She was born August 8, 1927 in Bluffton, AR to Arvil and Pearl (Billingsley) Lackey. She grew up in Bluffton and graduated from Fourche Valley High School. She married R. T. "Bob" Rounsaville December 24, 1947 in Bluffton, the couple moved to North Bend that year. She was an excellent mother, grandmother, gardener, cook and was an immaculate homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, R. T. "Bob" Rounsaville of Coos Bay; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Chris Swanner of North Bend; granddaughters, Kim and James Patrick of North Bend and Kathy and Joe Peak of Myrtle Creek; two great-grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Lou and Bill Hawkins of Coos Bay.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Lois.

Funeral service was held January 3, 2001 at Coos Bay Chapel with Norm Russell officiating. Private interment was held at Ocean View Memory Gardens, Coos Bay. TISHOMINGO -- Funeral for Edythe Elzora Rounsaville, 102, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Janice Hall, Roger Rounsaville and Tandy Troutman officiating. Interment will be at Coleman Cemetery. Mrs. Rounsaville was born September 1, 1898, in Vanzant County, Texas, to Henry and Mollie Ann Riggs Campbell and died Friday in a Tishomingo nursing home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earnest H. Rounsaville on March 9, 1960; two sons: Wilford Claud "Buddy" Enos and Ernest Verdell Rounsaville; a daughter, Ivy Evelyn Ingrum; six stepsons: Ray Rounsaville, Grady Rounsaville, Clifford Rounsaville, Chester Rounsaville, Leon Enos and C.D. Enos; a stepdaughter, Fay Yates; and a brother, Ewell Campbell. She lived her early years in Texas and moved to Johnston County in 1923. She was a homemaker and worked as assistant post master at the Coleman Post Office for several years.

She is survived by two daughters: Edythe Robertson and Earline Kunkle, both of Tishomingo; a stepdaughter, Lucille Chaney, Fillmore; four sisters: Vada Thompson, Ravia; Dussie Thompson, Tishomingo; Lillie Fisher, of Alabama; and Ruth Gilbert, Van, Texas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rounsaville; three sons, John E. Turner, J. C. Turner and Harvey P. Turner; and two daughters, Patricia Ann Rounsaville and Juanita Blankenship.

Rounsaville, Henry Elmer

Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery for Henry Elmer Rounsaville.

Mr. Rounsaville died Wednesday, northwest of Toyah. He was born Oct. 20, 1908 in Sweetwater. He was a Baptist. A rancher, Mr. Rounsaville had lived in Pecos for 15 years.

Henry E. Rounsaville - Truck wreck claims life of local rancher A Pecos rancher was killed in a traffic accident Wednesday that also injured his passenger, a Carlsbad man. Henry E. Rounsaville was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. Jeffrey R. Wallace, 19, was treated and released from Reeves County Hospital with minor head lacerations he suffered in the one-vehicle accident. Wallace, a ranch hand, was a passenger in the pickup. According to Department of Public Safety officials, the accident occurred about 9:30 a.m. about 12 miles north of Toyah on an unnamed county road in Reeves County.

Rounsaville was driving a Ford F-250 pickup south on the road when he swerved to avoid striking a horse. The pickup went into a skid, hit an embankment, was airborne for 37 feet, and rolled over once in a pasture on the east side of the roadway, DPS reported. The driver was thrown from the pickup. Neither Rounsaville nor Wallace were using seat belts, according to DPS reports. Rounsaville was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by Reeves County Justice of the Peace J.T. Marsh. Mrs. Maud Rounsaville, age 80, of Ft. Smith died Sunday, August 26.

Burial was at the Shepherd Cemetery near Dardanelle. She operated a store and PO 8 miles Northeast of Danville in Alpha Community for many years.

Rounsaville, Patricia Ann

Young Girl Killed by Electricity -- Patricia Ann Rounsaville, 12 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rounsaville of near Gravelly, was killed Thursday afternoon when she came in contact with a butane pipe, charged with electricity, when she crawled under the home to gather eggs. Wires from an electric clock setting near a butane stove in the kitchen, grounded the entire butane system when it came in contact with the stove.

The girl had gone under the house, where some of the hens had been laying eggs to gather the eggs. When found, her body was in contact with the butane pipe. Her mother went to rescue the daughter, and received severe shock, when she touched the girl's body. Efforts were made to revive the girl, but were unsuccessful. She was a student in Fouche Valley high school, and a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors, besides the parents, are three brothers, and two sisters.

Rounsaville, William Thomas

William Thomas Rounsaville, age 84 of Gravelly died Thursday, July 17, 1975 at the Dardanelle Convalescent Home. He was a native of Yell County, a retired farmer, the son of the late William and Emma Raper Rounsaville. He was a member of the Bluffton Methodist Church and a Master Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie Vines Rounsaville; two sons, R. T. Rounsaville of Oregon and Howard Turner of Rover; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Miles of Hot Springs and Mrs. Juanita Blankenship of Little Rock; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at the Bluffton Methodist Church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. George Pattern officiating. Interment was at the Bluffton Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Services. Arrangements and services were in care of the Cornwell Funeral Service of Danville. Roush, Grace F.

Mrs. Grace F. Roush, age 83, Dardanelle died Friday, August 24, 1984 at Dardanelle Hospital. She was the widow of Markus T. Roush and a member of Fair Park Baptist Church. She had served as pianist at the Little Creek and Marlow Baptist Churches in Sheridan, and at Fair Park Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three sons, James Russell, John Allen and Robert Neil Roush.

Survivors include two daughters, Myrtis Wooldridge of Magnolia and Lois Jane Bryan of Oklawaha, Fla.; a brother, John L. Carter of Leavenworth, Kan.; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Miss Myrtle B. Roush of Russellville.
