Fudge, Earline Beulah

DANVILLE - Earline Beulah Fudge, 85, of Havana died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Mitchell's Nursing Home. She was born July 12, 1922, in Danville to Mr. and Mrs. Coleman Freeman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Eulis Adair.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Thomas Fudge; stepchildren, Carl Fudge of Huntington, Aline Jones of Riverbank, Calif., and Tommy Fudge of Bellflower, Calif.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Lavoy Truett of Danville.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Moores Chapel Cemetery in Waveland with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home. Fudge, Thomas Elmo

Thomas Elmo Fudge, age 92 of Havana, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. He was born September 29, 1918 in Morrilton (Ada Valley) Arkansas to the late Thomas A. and Doll Scott Fudge. He was a WWII Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his wife Earline Fudge; brothers, Clarence and Douglas Fudge.

Survivors include children Carl Fudge of Huntington, AR, Aline Jones of Riverbank, CA, Tommy Fudge of Bellflower, CA; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Danville Cornwall Funeral Chapel with John McCourt officiating. Burial will be at Ada Valley Cemetery. Fulcher, Josephine Ellen

Josephine Ellen Fulcher, age 77, of Ola died Sunday, June 2, 1985, at Stella Manor Nursing Home. She was a native of Lurton, and daughter of the late James and Eula Denny Freeman.

Survivors include a son, Garrett W. Freeman of Lake Station, Ind.; two sisters, Mary Billingsley of Bryant and Ruby Denny of Sacramento, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Fuller, Marian Moss

Marian Moss Fuller, age 77, of Hot Springs, AR died July 15, 1998 in a Hot Springs hospital. She was born on October 3, 1920 in Ola, AR. She was a member of the Pullman Heights United Methodist Church. She was an entertainer and housewife and a member of the Showman's Club.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Fuller of Little Rock, AR and Craig Fuller of North Carolina; a daughter, Holly Stoliker of Conway, AR; and three grandsons, William Fuller, Drew Fuller, and Aaron Stoliker.

Services was July 18th in the Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hugh Stultz officiating. Interment was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hot Springs, AR. Fullerton, John Odell

John Odell Fullerton, age 54, Southwest Extension district agent, died suddenly March 1, 1955 of a heart attack in his home in Little Rock.

Fullerton has served with the Arkansas Agricultural Extension Services as Southwest district agent from 1942 until the present time. He began work in Arkansas as a county agent in Randolph County in 1928. He later was count agent in Woodruff and North Mississippi counties before becoming Northeast District Agent in 1937. Fullerton, Sarah Elizabeth

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Fullerton, age 88, of O'Fallon, MO formerly of Ola, AR died Saturday, February 22, 1997 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, MO. She was born January 22, 1908 in Ola, AR to the late Joe and Pearl Luker West. She was a retired Cannery Industry employee.

Survivors include a son, Chester Fullerton of Bend, OR; three daughters, Louise Sealey of Bend, OR, Clara Sanders of Brookington, OR, Gene Bowman of O'Fallon, MO; a sister, Ruby Anderson of Rover, AR; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Achel Thomas Fulmer, age 71, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at his home in Rover. He was born July 21, 1936 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Hulon & Exie Angeline Warner Fulmer. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Marcella Fulmer; son and daughter-in-law, Steve & Dianna Fulmer of Bryant; daughter & son-in-law Sherry & Buddy Fisher of Scott; brothers & sister-in-law Gary & Deborah White of Sherwood; sister & brother-in-law Bea & Claude Evans of Potosi, MO. and 7 grandchildren.

Fulmer, Ruby Baugh

The many Dardanelle friends of Mrs. S. C. Fulmer, age 36 years, will learn with deep regret of her death, which occurred at her home in Little Rock last Thursday. Mrs. Fulmer, who will be remembered here as Miss Ruby Baugh, a popular member of the Dardanelle High School faculty some years ago, was born at Bluffton in this County, being a daughter of the late Dr. W. F. Baugh.

Fulton, Claude

Mr. Claude Fulton, aged 69 years, prominent farmer and good citizen of the Pisgah community, for many years, died suddenly at his home-six miles southwest of Dardanelle at noon Sunday, April 8th, 1951. He was a native of Yell County and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Fulton was a leader not only in agricultural lines, but in educational and religious circles and in all community activities. He will be sadly missed in his community and his place will hard indeed to fill. Mr.

Fulton is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. George Daniels, of Pisgah, and Mrs. Jack Grace, of Fort Smith; two sons, Lloyd Fulton, of Little Rock, and Major R. Andy Fulton, of Fort Walton, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. E. A. Jones, of Houston, Tex.; one brother, Bob Fulton, of Pisgah, and nine grandchildren. Services, conducted by Rev. J. T. Bingamin and Rev. Frank Weatherford; were held at the Pisgah Church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the presence of a large assemblage of sorrowing relatives and friends.

Jerry Lee Fulton, age 63, of Auburn, AL, formerly of Dardanelle, AR died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, a UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. A son of the late John R. and Media Clowers Fulton, he was born February 26, 1942 at Dardanelle, AR. He was an Air Force Veteran and a member of die First Baptist Church in Otelika, AL. He was a graduate of Dardanelle High School. He received his Bachelors of Science at Troy State University in Troy, AL, his Master or Education at Georgia Southern in Statesboro, GA and he was a retired teacher and superintendent for various schools in Arkansas including Danville and Plainview.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Fulton of Fayetteville.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Virginia Fulton of Pensacola, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Chris Caldwell of Auburn, AL; two brothers, John Robert Fulton of Dallas, TX and Danny and Judy Fulton of Dardanelle, AR; a sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Ronnie Kisling of Dardanelle, AR; and a granddaughter.

Lloyd Ray "Billy" Fulton, age 57, of Dardanelle, AR died Friday, April 24, 1998 at the Dardanelle Hospital. He was born July 11, 1940 in Dardanelle, AR to the late John Robert and Media Clowers Fulton. He was a Navy Veteran, retired automobile mechanic.

He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Fulton.

Funkhouser, Howard

Howard Funkhouser, age 72, a resident of Russellville, AR, formerly of Danville, AR died Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at Arkansas Heart Hospital at Little Rock, AR. He was born on April 25, 1929 at Paris, AR to Oscar and Iva (Jenkins) Funkhouser. He was a highly decorated Retried Chief Warrant Officer with 25 active years in the U. S. Army. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam and an additional four years in Southeast Asia. He spoke several languages. He was a member of the American Legion, Yell County Literacy Council, the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the First Baptist Church of Danville. He demonstrated a great love and duty to family, God and country.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, and five sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Geraldine Funkhouser of Russellville, AR; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen & Ed Hicks of Little Rock, AR; one son & daughter-in-law, Gerald Howard Kim Funkhouser of Danville, AR; four grandchildren, Gerald Howard, Jr. Kara and Jonathan Funkhouser and Marcus Perez and one sister, Edith Treadwell of Little Rock, AR.

" He was born January 18, 1930 at Nimrod, AR to Newton and Muncie Jackson) Furr. He was a retired dozier operator, Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII and was a member of the Plainview First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one daughter and one granddaughter.

Willo Dean Caldwell Furr, 77, of Atkins, AR passed on to Jesus Monday, September 17, 2007, at Conway Regional Medical Center. Born April 13, 1930, in Leachville, AR, she was the daughter of the late John and Effie Melton Caldwell. She loved live music, singing, fishing, camping, reading, the ocean, wildlife, sewing, crocheting and her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Furr; two brothers, Horace and Herman Caldwell and one sister, Lila Mae Hatch.

She is survived by four sons, John William Furr of Pennsylvania, Dannis Lee Furr of California, Vernon Ray Furr of Arkansas, Douglas Wayne Furr of Oregon; 3 daughters, Patsy Marie Buchanan of Hattiesville, Val Gene Daniels and Gloria Elaine Shafer, both of Atkins; 10 grandsons, 6 granddaughters; several great-grandchildren, a few great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Leola Linker of Mt. View, Leavern Hope of Fort Smith and a host of friends.

Dora Leigh Furrow, age 73, of Danville, AR, widow of Jack C. Furrow, died Saturday, August 28, 1999 at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, AR. She was born December 9, 1925 in the Gilkey community in Yell County, AR to the late Samuel Cody and Delphia Light Green. She was a homemaker and mother and a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville.

Survivors are one son, Jack L. Furrow of Danville, AR; one brother and sister-in-law, John M. and Helen Green of Plainview, AR; several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Fuson, A. A.

A.A. Fuson - age 84, of Lonoke, a retired farmer, died Friday, June 16, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John L. Surguine. He was a native of Corinth, Miss., but had lived at Danville for some 60 years before moving to Lonoke.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John L. Surguine of Lonoke, and Mrs. W. W. Charles R. Fuson, formerly of Yell County, and a resident of Merced, Calif. for the past several years, died at his home October 4, 1958 and was buried in Merced October 7. He was born August 15, 1885.

Fuson, Vivian Arlene (Janway)

Arlene Fuson, 84, of Old Cavern Highway, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at Landsun Health Services Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010, at West Funeral Home Chapel with Lance Redman officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 9 a.m. to service time Friday at West Funeral Home. Vivian "Arlene" Janway Fuson was born to Jesse and Nancy Porter Janway on June 11, 1926, in Clarksville, Ark. She was raised in the Otis area and attended Carlsbad Schools where she graduated with the Class of 1944. Arlene and Junior Bill Fuson were married October 5, 1946, in Carlsbad. She worked for Carlsbad Municipal Schools, where she served as the snack bar attendant at Eisenhower Jr. High and P.R. Leyva Middle School for many years prior to her retirement. Arlene was a devout and loving Christian woman who enjoyed spending time serving others.

She is preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, Euline Janway; brother, Ardell Janway; and sisters: Undeen Yielding and Bernice Hearn.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Bill Fuson; sons: Jimmy and Terry Fuson of Carlsbad; daughters: Naomi Lallman of Carlsbad and Rhonda Bradberry of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchil-dren; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Kevin Lallman, Joey Fuson, Aaron Ballew, Preston Ballew, Kerry Fuson, Caleb Ballew and Bryson Ballew. David Futch, age 62 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at River Valley Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1945 at Cocoa Beach, FL to the late Lee Henry and Annie Cowart Futch. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Tanomasassa, FL. He loved wrestling, old cars, children and the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Fye, R. Helen Heathcoat

Mrs. R. Helen Heathcoat Fye, age 68, of Strattonville, Pa. a native of Russellville, died March 25, 1986. She was the daughter of the late William Millard and Lura M. Petray Heathcoat, a graduate of Paris High School, and was a member of Order of Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary at Strattonville. On November 17, 1944, she married John D. Fye. Mrs. Fye was the granddaughter of the late William E. "Bill" and Rosa Bell White Petray, and Everette Houston and Mary Millard Heathcoat.

She was preceded in death by a Brother, Paul Heathcoat.

Mr. Bobby J. Gadberry, age 59, of Dardanelle, AR died Thursday, November 25, 1999. He was born July 3, 1940 in Dardanelle, AR to the late Dan William and Sally Anne Storment Gadberry. He was a former member of the teamsters local 878 and retired from Valmac.

He was preceded in death by, a son, James Gadberry and a sister, Jewel Raines.

He is survived by, his wife, Velma Land Gadberry of Dardanelle; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Gail Gadberry and Randy and Diana Gadberry all of Dardanelle, AR; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Earl W. Matthews, Sr. of Casa, AR; a brother, Charles Gadberry of Dardanelle; two half-brothers, Cecil Gadberry and Gene Gadberry both of Sikeston, MO; one sister, Rosie Ridgley of Sacramento, CA; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
