Harris, Erskin

Erskin Harris, age 91, of Rover died Saturday evening, March 13, at the Yell County Hospital He was a native of the Waltreak Community, a retired farmer, the son of the late Dr. S. R. Harris arid Nancy Huckaby Harris.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Verda Maubuarry Harris; three sons, Noel Harris and Rex Harris, both of Rover, and Cecil B. Harris of Danville; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Majors and Mrs. Mary Monroe, both of Danville; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Rover Baptist Church Monday at 2:00 with the Rev, 0 J Moudy and the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Interment was at the Rover Cemetery. Harris, Helen Caviness

Helen Caviness Harris, born Nov. 14, 1910, in Gravelly, she passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, in a Dardanelle nursing home. She was the wife of the late Fred. E. Harris and the daughter of an early pioneer Yell County family, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Caviness of Gravelly. She was a Waldron resident for 66 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Good Morning Group. She served as treasurer for several years for the United Methodist Women. She attended the Academy at Central College in Conway for two years and then transferred to the University of Central Arkansas, also in Conway. She was a charter member of the Waldron Garden Club and served as president for four years. She organized the Junior Garden Club of Waldron and served as their sponsor. She enjoyed playing bridge and belonged to the same club from 1933 to 1955.

She taught school in Gravelly her first year and then in Forester, where she met Fred. They were married in 1933 and celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1983.

Helen and Fred didn't have any children, but they do have a foster son, Shane Bennoch, who Fred met in Ireland when Shane was 4 years old. They kept in touch with him and his family until Shane was 18 years old, then he came to live with them. He is now a doctor in Boliver, Mo. He has two children, Shannon of Seattle and Kevin of Fayetteville. She has many nieces and nephews, Georgiana Tatum, Betty Grace Brown, Virginia Ann Bobrick, Bob Caviness, Fred Burnett Jr., W.E. Stevenson, Bette Newborn, Bill Cox, Emily Gilbert, Susan Richmond, Patsy Vaughn and Sally Butler; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Duncan Cemetery in Waldron under the direction of Martin Funeral Home. Harris, Noel Wilson

Mr. Noel Wilson Harris, age 77, of Rover, Yell County, Arkansas, died Monday, August 1, 1994 at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. He was born March 4, 1917 in Rover, AR to the late Erskin and Verda Mulberry Harris. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a retired carpenter.

Survivors: wife, Esther Kuhr Harris; two sons, Noel Harris Jr. and Billy Harris both of Wylie, TX; a brother. Rex Harris of Rover, AR; two sisters, Doris Majors and Mary Monroe both of Danville; grandson, four granddaughters and a great granddaughter.

Services will be Thursday, August 4 at 2:00 p. m. at the Rover Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin McDill officiating. Interment in Hunt Chapel Cemetery, Rover, AR by Cornwell Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Gary Robber-son, Bo Robberson, John Overfelt, Roy Colbert, Donnie Emerson, Riley Ornsbey. Visitation will be tonight (Wednesday) from 7 to 9 p. m. Harris, Sidney Rex

Sidney Rex Harris, age 76, of died Thursday, February 23, 1995 at his home in Rover. He was born October 10, 1918 in Rover, AR son of the late Erskine and Verda Marberry Harris. He was retired from the DuPont Chemical Company in Orange, TX. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a member of the Masonic Christian Lodge 394 at Belleville, AR and a member of the Plainview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by three brothers Parnell Harris, Noel W. Harris and Cecil B. Harris.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ina Kifer Harris; three sons, S. R. Harris, Jr. of Russellville, Bill Harris and J. D. Harris both of Mauriceville, TX; one daughter, Mrs. Myra Toney of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Doris Majors and Mary Monroe both of Danville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were February 25, 1995 at the Plainview Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Miller officiating. Burial was in the Rover Cemetery. Pallbearers were Johnny Majors, Larry Frazier, Tooter Ball, Pledger Ball, Doyle Barrick, Riley Fred Ornsbey. Honorary Deacons of the Plainview Baptist Church. Harris, Verda Marberry

Mrs. Verda Marberry Harris age 87 of Rover, died Sunday night April 29, 1984 at her home. Mrs. Harris was a native of Plainview, and the daughter of the late W. L. and Laura Hogan Marberry. She was the widow of the late Erskin Harris. She was a mother and homemaker.

Survivors include, three sons, Cecil Harris of Danville, Noel Harris of Rover, and Rex Harris of Rover; two daughters, Doris Majors and Mary Monroe both of Danville; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Erskin Harris.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 1, in the Rover Baptist Church, with the Reverend O. F. Moody officiating. Burial was in Hunt Cemetery in Rover. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home. (Submitted by: Patsy Gatliff, 4/29/1984)


Harris, Wendy Downen

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 12, 1095, for Wendy Downen Harris, age 41, who died in Lake Providence, Friday, March 10, 1995. Services were under the direction of Cox Funeral Homes and were officiated by Rev. David Barber.

Mrs. Harris was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Providence where she was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. She was active in her daughter s lives and was the cheerleader sponsor for Briarfield Academy. She was supportive of all the activities at Briarfield. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Wendy Downen Harris at First National Bank and Louisiana Delta Bank. Memorials should be made to Briarfield Academy.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, Raymond Harris of Lake Providence; two daughters, Amie Harris and Stacey Harris, both of Lake Providence; her parents Wendell and Rudy Downen, Lake Providence; two sisters Sharon Snyder, Sommersville, SC and Becky Kensing, Lake Providence; and two aunts Lynn Trovillion, Riverside, CA, and Jane Hamilton, Memphis, TN. Wendy's maternal grandparents were the late George and Nettie David Luker. Paternal grandparents were the late Troy and Ozzie Tanner Downen.

Harvey, Ernest

Mr. Ernest Harvey, age 73, of Ola, died Tuesday, July 5, 1988 at the Yell County Hospital in Danville. He was native of Witter, AR, son of the late Fred and Juliana Ward Harvey, a veteran of WW II and retired from the National Guard and retired from the Wayne Poultry Co.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Susie Carolyn Humphreys Harvey of the home; two sons, Robert Harvey of Ola and Eddie Wayne Harvey in the US. Army, Stationed in Germany; one daughter Peggy Sue Harvey Underwood of Danville; two brothers, Alfred Harvey of Bluffton and Vernon Harvey of Wilmot, AR; also five grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Briggsville Methodist Church with Rev. Claude Miles officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Briggsville. Harvey, Winnie Sue

Mrs. Winnie Sue Harvey, age 69, of Bluffton, AR died Sunday (November 1993) at the Yell County Nursing Home in Ola. She was born March 31, 1924 in Gravelly, AR to the late Earnest and Valeria Sledge Billingsley. She was a member of the Bluffton Baptist Church, the Fourche Valley VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Maria Harvey of Glennwood, AR; a brother, Wayne Billingsley of Bluffton, AR and granddaughter, Alicia Harvey of Glennwood, AR.

Services were November 30, 1993 at the Bluffton Baptist Church with Rev. B. L. Dorman. Interment was at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Briggsville by Cornwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers were B. J. Hawkins, Charles "Charlie" Clinton

Charles "Charlie" Clinton Hawkins, age 90, of DUMAS, a retired farmer, died Sunday. (10-2-1985) Hawkins was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Funeral will be at 2 p. m. today at Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dark Corner Cemetery.

Survivors are two sons, Billy Fred Hawkins of Coos Bay, Ore. and Eldridge C. Hawkins of Dumas; three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Brewer of Dumas, Mrs. Lydia Belle Brewer of Star City and Mrs. Lillia Potter of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Earl Hawkins and George Hawkins, both of Bluffton; a sister Mrs. Ada Magness of Bluffton; 27 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Hawkins, Meda Bittle "Aunt Bud"

Mrs. Meda Bittle "Aunt Bud" Hawkins, age 83, of Rover, died Friday, June 30, 1989 at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was a native of Nimrod, AR, and was a daughter of the late George Thomas Bittle and the late Ida Dawson Bittle. She was a member of the Danville Senior Citizens and she was a Baptist.

She is survived by one sister, Hazel Sanders of Danville; a sister-in-law, Mazell Bittle of Rover; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday at the New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Williams officiating. Burial was in the New Bethel Cemetery near Plainview. Active pallbearers were Bill, Bob, Jack, I. Haywood, Carmon C.

DARDANELLE, August 10, 1950 Yell County's first Korean War casualty and the seventeen . reported killed in action was Pvt. Carmon C. Haywood, age 17, of Rover. Private Haywood, was killed July 23, according to Information received by his father, William L. Haywood of Rover. Young Haywood enlisted last March and was stationed at Fort; Riley, Kansas for training. He sailed for Korea June 23.

Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Janice Brasher of Richmond, Cal.; one brother, J. T. Haywood of Arlington, Tex. and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W, Haywood of Rover.

James T. "Pete" Haywood, age 61, of Fort Worth, TX died in October, 1988. He was a native of Rover.

Survivors include his wife, Lois L. Haywood of Ft. Worth, TX; one daughter Reanell Haywood Laycox of Grand Prairie, TX; one grandson, Damon Laycox of Grand Prairie, TX; one sister, Janice Brasier of Lower Lake, CA; two aunts, Ms. Mazell Bittle of Rover, AR and Ms. Mary E. Brown of San Francisco, CA; three nieces and three nephews.

Graveside services were held October 12, 1988 at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth with Mr. Lewis Zeller of Christian Science Church officiating.

Mrs. Cleo Herr, age 63, of Rover died Thursday, February 11, 1988 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Home.

Dr. Harry Amos Herr, age 86, of Rover, died Sunday, January 31, 1988 at the Leagsy Lodge Nursing Home in Russellville. He was a native of Fresno, CA, son of the late Amos and Elizabeth Weaver Herr, a retired Medical Doctor and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cleo Morrison Herr; two sons, Harry Herr of South Korea and Hank Herr of Fort Polk, LA; one daughter, Helen Herr of Little Rock; also four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Hicks, Mary Jane (Pugh)

Mary Jane (Pugh) Hicks, of Quitman, Arkansas, went home to her Lord on Sunday morning, March 9, 2008. She was born in Rover, Arkansas on February 4, 1928 to the late Clifford and Faye Pugh and has two brothers Harold Wayne Pugh (Alice) of Orange, California, and Bud Pugh (Jody) of Downey, California.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband Robert Dale Hicks and her grandson, Robert Scott Hicks.

She is survived by one son, James (Jim) Franklin Hicks and, wife, Karen and their sons, Justin Hicks, Ryan Hicks and Stephen Hicks of Conway. She is also survived by one daughter Karen Hicks Ward and husband, Jim of Cabot and their children Chris Ward, wife, Ashley and their children Sophie and Caden of Sherwood, Arkansas and Amie (Ward) Simmons, husband, Alan, of Chicago, Illinois.

Jane, known as Nannie to her grandchildren and family was the consummate homemaker. Her home was always neat and organized and there was always something good cooking on the stove. She loved taking care of people and babysitting all the grandchildren as they grew up. Jane enjoyed being outdoors, visiting with her neighbors and taking care of the animals on the farm she and her husband raised prior to his death. She enjoyed her church family at First United Methodist Church at Quitman. Nannie loved to laugh and all her grandchildren will tell you she always met them with open arms, a kiss and a smile. Each one was special to her and she was always there to encourage, listen and love unconditionally. She will be dearly missed by all of us who knew her. Our family would like to thank Woodland Hills Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice for their care.

Hicks, Opha Leah Hicks Pearce Chester

Opha Leah Hicks Pearce Chester Hicks, age 79, Lee's Summit, MO passed away, Monday, July 29, 1996 at Lee's Summit Hospital. She was born January 3, 1917, in Danville AR, the eldest daughter of the late Charles G. and Bessie Renfrew Pearce. We attended school at Danville. She was a clerk for Sears Department Store for 30 years. She was a member of the Sears Retirees Club and a member of the Countryside United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hicks in 1990 and her sister, Opal Marcum in 1993.

Survivors include one son, Donald F. Chester, Musatine, IA; three brothers, Houston Pearce, Modesto, CA, Joseph Pearce, Little Rock and Charles Pearce, Conway, AR; three grandchildren, Sharon Taylor, Mark Chester and Matthew Chester and two great-granddaughters.

Highfill, Dora Lee

Dora Lee Highfill, was born on Thursday, August 14, 1902 in Montgomery County, AR to John G. and Mary Ann (Brewer) Copeland. She passed from this life on Saturday, April 22, 1995 at her home in Bixby, OK at the age of 92. She was a longtime resident of Bixby having moved here in May of 1950 from Gravelly, AR. She was a homemaker and member of Shellenbarger Free Will Baptist Church. Her family warmly remembers her many loves and interest such as being a wonderful cook, crocheting, sewing, gardening and flowers of all lands. A special tribute to her life was the fact that every child in the neighborhood lovingly called her "Grandma" regardless of any family relation or not. The delight of her life were the visits from her many friends, neighbors and loved ones.

She married her husband, Loy Highfill in September of 1924 hi Gravelly, AR. In 1974 they celebrated their golden anniversary at their home in Bixby with over 65 family members present including every immediate family member. On December 19, 1983 after 59 years of marriage, Loy preceded Dora in death.

She was also preceded by her parents, two brothers Willie and Fred Coepalnd and one sister, Lola Ammons.

She leaves, three daughters Leah Hogan of North Little Rock, AR, Mary Sams of Bixby and Sue Cheatham of Broken Arrow; three sons, Dalton of Castro Valley, CA, Carlton of Carrollton, TX and Bill of Tulsa; one sister, Hester Oglesbee of Gravelly, AR; one brother, Jeff Copeland of Wenatche, WA; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Casket bearers included her grandsons Robert Lynn Hogan, Mike Highfill, Rick Highfill, Danny Highfill, Phillip Highfill, Bobby Sams, Steve Sams, Jon Cheatham, James Cheatham, Robert Bruce Sams and Steve Hood. Mrs. Edna Rose Higman, age 68, of Rover died Sunday January 3, at her home. Mrs. Higman was a native of Missouri, daughter of the late James and Gladys Fowler, and a homemaker.

Survivor include, her husband, Johnnie Higman of Rover; three sons, Joe, Albert and Jesse Higman all of Rover; one daughter, Maryann Cooper of Rover, AR.; also two sisters and 29 grandchildren.

Hogan, James Roscoe

James Roscoe Hogan, age 78, of Rover died Monday, March 23, 1987, at the Yell County Hospital in Danville. He was a retired Yell County employee, the son of the late Francis and Ada Norman Hogan and a lifelong resident of Rover.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Johnson Hogan; two grandchildren, Ricky Hogan, of Rockdale, Texas and Kay Pennington of Searcy and four great-grandchildren.

Services were March 25 at Rover Baptist Church with the Rev. Claude Miles and Rev. Kelly Dunn officiating. Interment was in Hunt Cemetery, Rover, AR by Cornwell Funeral Service. Pallbearers were Bob Anderson, Quinton Walker, Joe Dishough, W. T. Pugh, Monroe Brown, Roy Short. Honorary were Monroe Hunt, Dr. J. O. Pennington, Marvin Sullivan and Bill Milligan. Hogan, Joseph Antle

Joseph Antle Hogan of Harrison died March 6 at age 79. His funeral services were held March 9 at Woodland Heights Church of Harrison where he was a member and former pastor. Hogan, a Southern Baptist minister for 50 years had been pastor of other Arkansas churches, including Pindall Chapel North Crossett First Church and Osceola First Church. In addition, he had been interim pastor of First Church of Grand-view and Gaither Church of Harrison Hogan had served on the Board of Trustees for Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries.

He is survived by his wife, Marie, a former president of Arkansas Woman's Missionary Union; and one sister.

GOULD Cheetle (Cleat) Holiman, aged 75, of Gould, a retired farmer, died Tuesday. (12-22-87) He was a 32d degree Mason and a Methodist.

Holiman, Herbert C.

Herbert C. Holiman, age 90, of Texarkana, TX, formerly of Benton, AR died Friday, March 6, 1987. He was a retired pharmacist and co-owner of Smith Caldwell Pharmacy. He was a native of Yell County and a veteran of World War I and a Methodist.

Survivors are his wife, Meda Pugh Holiman; one daughter, Mary Holiman Bransford of Texarkana; a brother, Homer Holiman of Ola; two sisters, Dovie Cook and Eunice Matthews both of Little Rock and two grandchildren.

Holiman, Homer Earl

Homer Earl Holiman, age 88, of Ola, AR died Wednesday, July 28, 1993 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employee of Brown & Root Construction Company of Houston, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Emily Holiman and his wife, Ruby Myers Holiman. He was a member of the Ola United Methodist Church and had been active in the Ola Chamber of Commerce. Survivors are one son, John M. Holiman of Pasadena, TX; two granddaughters, Nicole Holiman of Pasadena, TX and Laura Irish of Richmond, VA; great grandson, Jon Michael Irish of Richmond, VA; sister, Eunice Matthews of Little Rock, AR and a number of nieces and nephews.

Holland, Chester Lee

Mr. Chester Lee Holland of Mena, AR passed away Tuesday, May 4, 1999 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born January 18, 1947 in Danville, Arkansas. He was 52 years old. Mr. Holland was the son of the late Nathaniel Holland and Virginia Rhoades Holland. He was united in marriage to Sharon Wells on March 18, 1994 in Cherry Hill, Arkansas. Mr. Holland served in the Navy and was nicknamed "Smokey" for boxing. He lived in Mena for the last ten years; he was the owner and operator of a truck leased to Double C Transportation of Mena and was a truck driver for 25 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, enjoyed bowling at the Pine Bowl, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Survivors are: his wife, Sharon Holland of Mena, his mother, Virginia Holland. Six brothers and sisters; Darrel Holland, Paul Holland, Michael Holland, Margie Staley, LaJuana Crawford, Ronald Holland. Two children, Shane Holland and Rachel Brown. Two step children; Martha and Michael Phillips. Grandchildren; Emily, Alyssa, and Taylor Brown. Shaely Holland and Ashton Currey. Eight nieces, six nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 10 in the Hall Memorial Chapel with Rev. Riley Christensen officiating. Interment was in the Young Gravelly Cemetery near Gravelly, Yell County, Arkansas under the direction of Hall Funeral Service in Mena. Holland, Michael "Mickey"

Michael "Mickey" Holland, 55, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Saturday, May 10, 2008, in Norman. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ray Sikes officiating. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.

Mickey was born April 1, 1953, in Danville, Arkansas, to Worth and Virginia Holland. He graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1971, and attended Oklahoma Broadcasting School. He married Mary Ann Torrez on March 20, 1982 in Irving, Texas. Mickey loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, cooking and boating.

Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Worth Holland; brother Chester Holland; and, sister, Diane Staley.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, of Irving Texas; children Michael, Monica and Matthew Holland of Irving, Texas; grandchildren, Bishop, Matthew, Jr., and Kenzie; mother, Virginia Holland of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; sister, LaJuana Crawford and husband, Butch Crawford of Midwest City, Oklahoma; brothers Darrell Holland of Mt. Mrs. Clara Gillum Holtzclaw, aged 75, of Little Rock, wife of Aubrey Holtzclaw, died Sunday. (1986) She was a Baptist.

Horn, Herbert Sydney "Herb"

WEWOKA - Graveside funeral services for longtime Wewoka resident Herbert Sydney "Herb" Horn are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Holdenville Cemetery. Harold McRay will officiate; burial is under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.

Horn died Friday at Holdenville General Hospital at the age of 94. He was born Feb. 23, 1905, in Belleville, Ark., to A.G. and Alice (Joiner) Horn. He was raised in the Yell County area and moved to Wewoka in 1945. He worked in the service station business until his retirement in 1971. Horn married Ora Pearl Pickens on Oct. 31, 1931 in Yell County.

She survives him of the home. Other survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Linda Horn, Midwest City; two grandchildren, Robert Horn Jr. and Michelle Horn, both of Midwest City; one great-grandson, Daniel Foster, Midwest City; one brother-in-law and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pickens, Hot Springs, Ark; a sister-in-law, Lovie Dean, Holdenville; a cousin, Raymond and Nowasa Joiner, Holdenville; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Anson, Seminole; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Erma Lee Reed Housley, of Onyx (Yell County), died early Monday morning, September 8th, in the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Mrs. Housley was a native of Story, Arkansas, wife of William Elzie Housley, the daughter of the late Monroe and Nellie Ann Southard Reed, a housewife and a member of the Church Of God.

Survivors include her husband, Elzie Housley of the home; one son, William Eugene Housley of Fayetteville, AR; four daughter MM; Mary. Survivors include two sons, William Housley of Mount Ida (Montgomery County) and Frank Housley of Troy, Michigan; five daughters, Edna Langdon and Geneva Morehead of Little Rock, Ida Shellnut of Hazel Park, Mich. Wilma Wilson of Sheridan and Jewel Brown of Lonoke, 38 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lula Howell, age 85, of Checotah, OK. died Wednesday, February 16, 1994 in Warner, OK Nursing Home. She was born June 14, 1908 in Rover, AR to the late Bob and Margaret Whitten. She was a housewife, mother and a member of Checotah Baptist Church.

Survivors her husband, Dortho Howell; two daughters; two sons; nine grandchildren and one sister, Ruby Nell Pugh of Rover.

Ervin Andres Hull, Tuck" as he was known, age 86, of Wing died Saturday afternoon July 5, 1986 at the Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith. Mr. Hull was a native of Onyx, a Retired Construction Worker and Farmer, the son of the late Ezra and Nancy Sconch Hull. Mr. Hull was a member of the Wing Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Wheeler Hull, and one sister, Sylvia Seaton of Ok.; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral was held at the Wing Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p. m. with the Rev. Claude Miles and Compy George officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
