Hurlburt, Lyle Barton

Mr. Lyle Barton Hurlburt, age 68, of Ola, AR died Saturday, February 15, 1997 at his home in Ola. He was born March 14, 1928 in Akron, CO to the late Harold H. and Maybelle Barton Hurlburt. He was a retired self-employed truck driver, a private pilot, member of the Lions Club of Ola, River Valley Avaiation, Navion Society and the Civil Air Patrol.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Hurlburt.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Ginn Hurlburt; two sons, H. Harl Hurlburt of Colorado Springs, CO, Dwayne D. Hurlburt of Riverside, MO; daughter, Virginia Johnson-Millsap of Kansas City, MO; sister, Lucille Walter of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Chester Hurlburt and Clarence Hurlburt both of Boulder, CO; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Hurley, Bruce Wayne

Bruce Wayne Hurley, 49, of Atkins, died Monday, May 2, 2016. He was born July 2, 1966, in Paris. He was an ordained minister and attended Russellville Christian Center. He was a car dealer, loved music and taught guitar.

He was preceded in death by his biological father, Orval Dean Hurley; two brothers, Kevin Hurley and Randy Hurley.

Survivors include his mother and father, Sharyn and Coleman "Curley" Warnick of Russellville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Michele and Robert Scalco of Russellville and Rhonda and Jim Wood of Roland, Oklahoma; two brothers, Danny Warnick and Kieth Warnick, both of Dover; three nephews, Michael, Chris and Ryan Scalco; his special friend, Emily Johnson of Atkins; and other nephews and nieces.

Hurst, Ann

Ann Hurst, age 78, of Russellville died Wednesday, March 10, 1999 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, She was born March 26, 1920, at Cardon Bottoms, to the late John Zedec and Sarah Ellen McDaniel Cooper. Mrs. Hurst was a retired Lab Assistant from the Janet Davis Kitchens.

She was preceded in deaths by three sisters, Floy Grimes, Lois Davidson and Inis Ramey.

Survivors include her husband, James Dude Hurst, one son and daughter-in-law, Sammy and Laquita Ramey of Dardanelle, two sisters, Velma Ragsdale of Sallisaw, OK, Winnie Gillespie of Pine Bluff, two grandsons and granddaughters, Timothy Doyle, Stephanie Ramey and Jason Patrick and Fay Ramey of Baton Rouge, LA; great granddaughter, Rebekah Lynn Ramey of Dardanelle.

Services were Friday at Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle with Rev. Milton Cowling officiating. Interment was in Brearley Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service of Dardanelle. Joyce Loraine Hurst, age 59, of Pottsville died Friday, September 9, 2017, at Baptist Health Medical Center. She was born August 18, 1958, at St. Louis, Missouri to the late William and Sandra Collins Wright.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Hurst, Patsy Ann

Patsy Ann Hurst, 51 of Russellville, lost her battle with cancer but gained victory into her Father's Kingdom on Wednesday September 7, 2005. She was born December 3, 1953 at Covington, Kentucky to Marvin and Marie West. She was employed by Legacy Lodge Nursing home.

She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin West, father-in-law, Archie Hurst, and granddaughter, Jacey Fox.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Arley Hurst three sons, Jerry Fox, Eric Fox, and Ray Hurst daughter, Crystal Hurst five grandchildren mother-in-law, Christine Hurst Essinger, all of Russellville two sisters, Peggy McCarthy of Newport, KY, Linda Shoemaker of Brookeville, IN brother, Dale West of Guilford, IN numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a dedicated friend, Janet Martin.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 10 at Dardanelle Church of Christ with Mr. Ralph Weinhold officiating. Interment was at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Walter Hurst, aged 84, a resident of the Mt. George community died at his home Thursday, February 20. He was a native of Pope County, a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.

Jesse C. "Scooter" Hux, Jr. age 44, of Delaware died Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born December 20, 1958 in Dallas, TX to the late Jesse C. Hux, Sr. He was a machinist.

Hvarven, Larry Gene

Larry Gene Hvarven, 58, of Dardanelle died Monday, February 20, 2012. He was born March 19, 1953 at Macomb, IL to the late Dale and Marjorie Porter Hvarven. He enjoyed the outdoors. Camping and fishing is what he enjoyed the most. Spending time with his son, daughter and wife Deb made him the happiest. Larry always had a way of making people laugh. He always knew the right thing to say. He will be deeply missed.

Anna Mary "Granny" Hybner, age 80, of London, AR died Wednesday, January 31, 2001. She was born August 15, 1920 in Campbellton, TX, the daughter of the late Peter Gus and Frances Cecilia Havel Reinhardt. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hybner; two daughters, Patricia Hybner Blankenship Kelly and Frances Louise Ledford and a son-in-law, Burt Remy.

She is survived by; two sons, William Raymond Hybner of Russellville, AR and James Richard Hybner of Hector, AR; two daughters and son-in-law, Hellen & Leon Fritz of Oroville, WA and Dorothy Remy of Chickasha, OK; two sons-in-law, Harl Clifton Ledford and Jessie Blankenship; 20 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Elmore Truman Hyde, a retired printer of Plainview, died at the Ola Clinic on December 23.

James Ince killed his wife and three children with an axe at his home near Danville a few days ago. The murdered children ranged from four months to four years in age. A full confession has been made by Ince in which he said he had fallen behind financially and it seemed almost impossible to make a living for his family and so he concluded to kill them and then himself. She did volunteer work at the Yell County Nursing Home in Ola for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Easter Star in Elyria, Ohio and a member of the Ola Church of Christ. She was the widow of Dewey H. Infield and was also preceded in death by two sons, Harold Smith and Bill Infield.

Ingram, Edith Landers

Edith Landers Ingram, age 96 of South Hutchinson, KS died October 9, 2000 at Mennonite Friendship Manor in South Hutchinson. She was born September 16, 1904 In Isabelle, OK to James Eli and Sarah Josina Moore Jarvis. She married Jesse Bryan Landers on February 13, 1922 at Garber, OK. He preceded her in death in August 1969. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and VFW Auxiliary both of McPherson and was a retired home health nurse.

She is survived by, two daughters, Kay Ferguson of Apache Junction, AZ and Sue (Landers) Wallace of Hutchinson, KS; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, January 12, 2012 at North New Hope Cemetery, north of Dover, officiated by the Rev. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold Dean and Larry Wendell Nelms; granddaughter, Cloe Deshae Tackett.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck Ingram of Dardanelle; son, Buddy Dell Standridge of Piney Bay, Daughter, Geneva Nichole Tackett of Dardanelle; brother, Gary Lee Nelms (Diane) of Belleville, sister, Cheryl Millard (Dennis) of Dardanelle; three grandchildren, Megan Nicole Tackett, Cody Matthew Tackett and Ema Neva Standridge and great grandson, Wyatt Drake Phillips, mother-in-law Barbara Ingram, Wagner, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Shelia Kittle (Kevin), Tulsa, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held at 10:00 AM Monday July 25, 2016, at the Cornwell funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeff Smith and Rev. Troy Ellison Officiating.
