Ermal Eden (Biggs) Ludwick, age 81, of Paris, AR, died August 5, 1997 at Fort Smith, AR. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Paris and a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Tilden and Isabelle Courtney Biggs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eugene "Gene" Ludwick.
She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Hunt of Fort Smith, Martha Rollans of Danville and Marilyn Kuyendall of Paris; two sons, Raymond Earl White of Indio, CA and Tinker Ludwick, Paris, AR; one step-son, Charles Ludwick of Mablevale, AR; a sister, Laverne Gilbert of Torrance, CA; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Darren Downs, James Tucker, Larry Robinson, Jim Robinson, Donald Friddle and Jim Mi.

Laura Frances Luer, age 88 of Plainview, Our Beloved Mother, passed away, Tuesday, September 8, 2009. She was born February 2, 1921 in Wewoka, OK to the late William Myatt Doughty and Jeston Smith Doughty. She is a member of the Plainview United Methodist Church, Plainview, AR, and involved with the United Methodist Women's Association; a member of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Philip Lester Luer; brothers, Benjamin, Elbert, Pete, Marshall, William Doughty Jr.
She is survived by her son Jon Philip Luer and wife Vicki of Maumelle; her daughter, Gem Koski and husband Marvin of Conway; grandchildren, Natalie Luer and husband Chris Perry, Jason Adams and wife Dana, Lauren Moore and husband Casey, Danielle Lamberth and husband Chad; great grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, SarahGrace Adams, Alyssa Moore, Jayce Lamberth; sister, Lois Campbell of Conway; several nieces and nephews.

Philip L. Luer, age 91, of Plainview, AR, died December 13, 2006. He was the youngest child of John V. and Gertrude A. Smith Luer, born August 21, 1915 in rural Barron County, five miles southeast of Dallas, WI. He was a retired civil servant with the Corps of Engineers and a charter member of the VFW Post 8525, Plainview, AR. He was proud to have served with the 20 m Army Air Force on Guam during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Guy G. Harold, Frederick and Richard E. Luer and one sister, Genevieve M. Luer Wigby.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Laura F. Doughty Luer; one daughter and son-in-law, Laurita Gem (Luer) and Marvin Koski of Conway; one son and daughter-in-law, Jon P. and Vicki Luer of Maumelle, AR; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Audrey M. Luker, age 82, of Ola, AR died Friday, July 27, 2001 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. She was born May 9, 1919 in Mt. Carmel, IL to the late Henry and Leoria Seaton Belcher. She was a mother and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Belcher, Jr. and two sisters, Oma Seaton; and Imogene Peterson.

Berdine Luker, age 71 of Hobbs, NM died February 21, 1938 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. He was born on March 2, 16 in Rover, AR. He had made his home in Hobbs, NM since 1952 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was retired from B&M Service.

Clyde Eugene Luker, age 67 of Rover, died Tuesday, May 20, 1986 at the Yell County Hospital in Danville. Mr. Luker was a native of Bluffton, son of the late N. F. (Bert) and Attie L. Luker. He was a member of the Rover Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Bertha Hawkins Luker; three sons, Clifford Luker of Dardanelle; Kenneth Luker and Danny Luker both of Star City. Seven daughters; Carolyn J. Local Man and Companion Killed by Falling Boom -- Doyle Luker, of Little Rock formerly of Plainview and Sidney James Jr., North Little Rock were killed Tuesday afternoon when a boom of a crane fell and crushed them.
Luker was a veteran of World War II, serving as an aviation ordinance man in the Pacific. He entered the service in May 1940 and received his discharge in May 1946, having earned 13 battle stars in the Pacific. Luker's only brother was killed in the Pearl Harbor attach. She was a housewife and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a 1982 graduate of Ola High School, had served in the Army and the 153rd Arkansas Army National Guard Unit, Danville, AR. He was a millwright contractor, and worked for Cryogenic Fab and Tech Inc.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Dennis Lunsford and David Lewis and a grandmother, Lillie Davenport Lewis.

Johnie Mae Lusk, age 73, of Richmond, CA died April 23, 1997 in a Pinole Hospital. She was a native of Havana but had been a resident of Rickmond for 47 years. She was a homemaker for the past 54 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Holt of Danville, AR; three sons, Jimmy Lusk of Hercules, Bobby Lusk of Fremont and Jerry Lusk of El Sobrante; two sisters, Mae Wehunt of Fairfax, OK and Mamie Walker of San Pablo and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Kermit Lusk.

Frank Truman Luttrell, age 80, a resident of Ola, AR died Tuesday, September 22, 1998 at Yell County Nursing Home at Ola. He was born on March 5, 1918 at Casa, AR to Timothy and Josie Elizabeth Hambright Luttrell. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Harmony Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Calvin Luttrell, Bill Luttrell and Theodore Luttrell; two sisters, Faitha Alexander and Ollie Parks.
He is survived by a daughter, Abbie McCain of Ola, AR; a son, Jim Luttrell of Kalispell, MT; a grandson, Kenny McCain of Ola, AR; two granddaughters, Amanda McCain of Ola, AR and Leevie Luttrell of Kalispell, MT; a great granddaughter, Kimberly Luttrell of Kalispell, MT; a step-son, three step-daughters; one sister, Irene Lovett of Ceres, CA; also numerous nephews and nieces.

James Edward Luttrell, age 44, of Russellville, formerly of Plainview died Monday. He was born November 11, 1957 in Danville, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Frank T. and Nola Pearl Potts. He was a veteran serving 12 years in the Navy.
Survivors include his daughter, Leevie M. Ewer and granddaughters, Kimberly and Kaitlyn Ewer, all of Cornelius, Oregon; two stepsons, Kendall and Brent Reagan of Lakeside, CA; sister, Abbie McCain of Ola, AR; stepsisters, Nola Flannagan of Candler, NC, Margie McGavran of Russellville, and Ellen Reed of Orange, Texas; stepbrother, Robert Meriweather of Plainview; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim is well remembered for his kindness to others and generosity to all.

Mrs. Martha McOsker Lyford, age 45, of RUSSELLVILLE, wife of Dr Joe H. Lyford Jr. died Friday;(10-15-1982) Mrs. Lyford was a graduate of Hendrix College and a member of the P. E. O. Sisterhood, Russellville Culture and All Saints Episcopal Church.

Loice Myree Lyon, 92, of the Ranger community died Friday at Melissa Hight's Elder Care Home in Conway. Born December 12, 1913, in Ranger, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Dena Gantt Dowdy. She was a retired school teacher, a member of the Methodist Church, Yell County Retired Teachers Association, lifetime member of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association, and AARP.
She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Ruth Haygood Dowdy; her husband, Everett Ardell Lyon.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Myra and Albert Book of Greenbrier; two grandsons, Gerald and Jeff Book of Greenbrier.
