Dart, Beatrice Emaline Hambrick

Beatrice Emaline Hambrick Dart, 73. Of Belleville, Arkansas died at her home of an apparent heart attack Sunday, February 5, 2006. She had heart surgery 11 years ago and suffered with pulmonary distress. She was a native of Des Arc, born October 24, 1932 to James Chester and Lillian Grace "Lutton" Hambrick. After living in CA a number of years, she moved back to Des Arc about 15 years ago. She was president and one of the organizers of the Northside Arts and Crafts Club. An accomplished seamstress, she was famous for her beautiful handmade quilts. While in CA, she was a designer for a contractor who took jobs for the military.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Clotine Hambrick and Lodean Schmall. Her survivors include her husband, Roy Lee Dart; three daughters, Jane Ikemura of Los Angeles, CA, Patty Nulton of Elk Grove, CA and Carla Smith of OR; one son, Tony Dart of KY; three brothers, Jay Hambrick and W. C. Hambrick of Des Arc and Wilburn Hambrick of FL; one sister, Elise Dohm of Des Arc and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Garth Funeral Home Chapel in Des Arc with Bro. Jim West, pastor of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Internment was in the King Cemetery north of Des Arc. Pallbearers were Steven Hambrick, Benjamin Scott, Andrew Sickel, James Coster, Sonny Dickey and Scott Pryor. Ova Marie Dart, age 88, of Havana passed away Wednesday, January 02, 2013 at Mitchell Nursing Home. She was born September 13, 1924 in Belleville, to the late Ezra & Mertie Corley-Rutledge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Claude Clark & Sam Dart; son John Clark; daughters Delores Clark and Claudette Burrows; brothers Ora Rutledge, Doyle Rutledge, Jessie Rutledge, Troy Rutledge; sister Ocie Lee Lloyd; grandsons Vincent Lee Cates and Rodney Burrows.

Survivors include grandchildren Robert & Judy Cates of Germany; Yuvette & Brett Vannocker of Kansas; Alfred & Paula Cates of Texas; Timothy & Sandy Cates of Pottsville; Pennie & Tommie Ward of Morrilton; Renee & Levi Risley of Fort Smith; Anthony Clark of Russellville; Shane Clarkof Russellville; Lenette & Tim Sparacino of Bentonville; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister Faitha Mae Griffith of Magazine; son-in-law Carroll Ray Burrows of Havana.

Dart, Roy Lee

Roy Lee Dart age 92 of Belleville passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born July 7, 1921 in Stafford, AR (Yell County) to the late Thomas Melvel & Exie Louella Reed Dart. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a warehouse worker for Borden Dairy in Little Rock for 30 years. Roy liked to fish, hunt and go to the horse races.

He was preceded in death by his wives Sibbie Standford Dart and Emalene Hambrick Dart; sisters Della Hogue, Ella Lipe, Mary Ruth Dart; brothers Melvin, James, Sam, and Carl Dart.

Survivors include brothers-in-law, James Hambrick and William Hambrick; sister-in-law, Elsie Mae Dohn all of Des Arc, AR; a host of nieces & nephews, his caregiver Lisa Rigdon and special friend Jim Hugh White.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery with John McCourt officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. before service at cemetery. Brice Paul Darter, age 60, of Dardanelle, AR died Tuesday, October 28, 1997 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was retired as a draftsman from Innovation Industries and was a U. S. Army Veteran. He was born February 18, 1937 to the late Roy and Syble Marie Darter of Dardanelle, AR.

Survivors include one son, Paul Eric Darter of Rogers, AR; three daughters, Yevette Farris of Fayetteville, AR, Lisa George of Little Rock, AR and Paulette Harness of Bentonville, AR; two brothers, Roy Darter Jr. and Don Darter both of Dardanelle; two sisters, Betty Morris and Joan Grimes both of Dardanelle; also included are seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Darter, Donald Lee

Donald Lee Darter, age 65 of Dardanelle, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at River Valley Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1944 at Dardanelle to the late Roy Darter Sr. and Syble Howard. He attended the Delaware First Baptist Church and was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Masonic Lodge in Dardanelle.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Darter; nephew, Boyd Darter and dear friend, John Hickey.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Darter of Dardanelle; three daughters, Kim Collins, Margie Darter both of Dardanelle, D'Lynn Boger and husband Jeremy of Atkins; brother, Roy Darter, Jr. and wife Marie of Dardanelle; sisters, Joanne Grimes and husband Joe and Betty Morris of Dardanelle; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

James Boyd Darter, 53, of Dardanelle died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at his home. He was born to Roy, Jr. and Marie Lott Darter on October 11, 1952 in Russellville. He attended Faith Church in Dardanelle. He is much loved and will be greatly missed.

Loree Darter, age 79, of Ola, AR died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the Yell County Nursing Home in Ola. She was born in Waveland, AR on July 22, 1925 to Fred Boss and Lennie Shott Boss Fenton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ola Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy P. Darter and a brother, Elgie Boss.

She is survived by her sister, Sue Stanton of Ola; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Feb. 11 at the Free Will Baptist Church in Ola with Rev. Denver Robinson officiating. Burial was in the Havana Cemetery. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville. Mrs. Syble Marie Darter, age 89, of Dardanelle, AR died Sunday, August 10, 1997 at the Dardanelle Hospital. She attended the Assembly of God Church and was a housewife and homemaker. She was born August 27, 1907 to the late Sam and Elizabeth Cochran Howard in Appleton, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Darter, Sr. and a son, James A. Darter.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Darter, Jr. Brice Darter and Don Darter all of Dardanelle; two daughters, Betty Morris and Joan Grimes both of Dardanelle; a brother, Cecil Howard of Moffett, OK; four sisters, Alice Howard, Dossie Howard and Jessie Osburn all of Moffett, OK and Effie McDowell of Lawton, OK; also included are 21 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Bruce Allen Daughtrey, age 39, of Dardanelle, AR died Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. He was born May 13, 1965 in Klamath Falls, OR, was an employee of Yarnell Ice Cream Co. was a Navy Veteran and a member of Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Stacey Rose Daughtrey; two sons, Dalton and Ethan Daughtrey; a daughter, Emma Daughtrey; his mother, Karen Daughtrey of Fayetteville, AR; his father and stepmother, Larry and Sandy Daughtrey of Searcy; a sister and brother-in-law, Leanne and John Mann of Harrah, OK; a step-brother, Stacy Gammon of Joplin, MO; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Nancy Rose of Pottsville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Susi Rose of Olathe, KS, Joey and Deanna Woodard of Pottsville, AR and John and Pam Roe of Russellville, AR. Dauterive, Sue (Wiseman)

Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Sue Wiseman Dauterive, 86, who passed away on Tuesday, June 9,2015, in New Iberia. Mrs. Dauterive was born on October 17, 1928, in Rover, Arkansas, and was a longtime resident of New Iberia. A member at the First United Methodist Church Choir in New Iberia, she received her Master's Degree from LSU, and was a volunteer with the Shadows Service League for over 30 years, and was a long- time Pink Lady at Dauterive Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Henry J. Dauterive, Jr. of New Iberia; daughters, Nanette Dauterive and Suzanne Babineaux and husband Erroll, all of New Iberia, LA, grandchildren, Lindsay Mata Nicholson and husband Barrett of New Iberia, Melissa Mata of Fort Collins, CO, Mallory Mata McGowan and husband, Ian of New Iberia, Marianna Mata Lewis and husband, Tucker of Youngsville, Charlie Babineaux and wife Emily of Lafayette, Elise Babineaux Faucheaux and husband, Blair of New Iberia, and 12 Great Grandchildren.

She was born March 2, 1915 in Centerville, AR to the late Mac Monroe and Cora Bryson Cain. She was a retired employee of the International Shoe Factory in Russellville, a homemaker and mother and a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Russellville.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Morris Cain, Bryson Cain and Harold "Dick" Cain and three sisters, Reba Davenport, Modean Birkhead and Meredith Webb.

Mitchell Stephen Davenport, age 51 of Hollis, Perry County, Arkansas died Monday, September 8, 2002 at his home in Hollis. He was born October 8, 1950 in Fresno, California. He was a long distance truck driver.

David, Edward M.

Edward M. David age 87 went to be with the loved ones who were awaiting his arrival on Jordan's shore, just inside Heavens gates, Thursday, October 24, 1013. He was born March 15, 1926 in Maywood, California to Albert M. and Elsie Slymen David.

He had two sisters, Dorothy David and Louise Donske who with his parents preceded him in death.

Davidson, Walter

Walter Davidson, former manager of the Long Bell Lumber Company of Muskogee, died in the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville on April 27, 1954. He had suffered a heart attack in September 1953, and had been hospitalized since that time. Davidson was born in Yell County and formerly taught school here. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Davidson, pioneer residents of Yell County.

Davis, Bell

Bell Davis, age 82, a resident of Ola, AR died Monday, February 19, 2001 at her home. She was born October 15, 1918 at Scott County, AR to James and Lou Eliza Jane Wolf Davis. She retired from Val Mac in Dardanelle and Wayne Poultry in Danville. After her retirement she was a senior worker with the Ola Elementary School. Her daughter says that "mom was a loving caretaker for all of her friends and family" and "she would take us everywhere, to the movies, and swimming and she was even a sponsor for the Ola High School Class of 1955 senior trip to New Orleans.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Fayette Davis, Charley Davis and Albert Davis and one sister, Annathie Davis.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Eva Lee & Joe Williams of Haynesville, LA; two grandchildren Debra and Claude Baker of Ola, AR and Thomas Allen Merrill and Rick Cain of Baton Rouge, LA; one nephew and two nieces; Bell's special friend, Dorothy Hull of Ola, AR; a host of friends and several great-nephews and nieces.

Funeral service was February 22, 2001 at the First United Methodist Church of Ola officiating by Rev. John Zolk. Burial was in Sandlin Cemetery at Ola under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Davis, Billie Earline (Brittion)

Billie Earline Davis, age 72, of Perryville passed away Monday May 14, 2015, at her home. She was born April 11,1943 in Truman, Arkansas to Otis & Jewel Brittion. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband Cecil Davis and brother Wayne Stevens.

Survivors include her mother Jewel Stevens; children, Bobby Joe (Christina) Davis, Billy (Terry) Davis, Rickey Davis all of Ola; Randy (Rachell) Davis of Perryville; 3 brothers, Larry Stevens, Jerry Stevens of Jonesboro, Johnny Stevens of Springfield Mo; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Davis, Billy Ray

Billy Ray Davis, age 67, of Dardanelle, AR died Monday, May 3, 2004 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born May 27, 1936 in Tuckerman, AR to the late Andrew and Eithel Mae Cagel Davis. He was a Protestant. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force with 21 years of service and was also a retired instructor from the Russellville Area Vocational Technical Center.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Sue Bailey Davis and one brother, Clyde Davis.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Ray and Josie Davis of London, England and Todd Andrew and Barbie Davis of Searcy, AR; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and David Hutchings of Bossier City, LA and Pamela and Barry Green of the Guam Naval Base; one sister, Mildred Chamberlain of Paradise, CA; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Service was May 6, 2004 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with the Rev. Todd Davis officiating. Interment was in Rest Haven Memorial Park with full military honors by the Jacksonville Air Force Base Honor Guard. Birtha Davis, age 82 of land O Lakes, FL died Sunday, August 11, 2002. She was born in Chickalah, Arkansas and moved here from Maplewood, MO in 1998. She was a member of the Tops for 38 years and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin V. Davis. She was the mother of Mary Epley and grandmother of Steven Epley, Michael Epley and great-grandmother of Linda Lauren Epley.

Bishop Clifford Davis, age 76, of Belleville passed away Friday, July 3, 2015, at his home. He was born October 30, 1938, in Paris, Arkansas to the late Ellis & Verna Lee Wise Davis. He was retired from Firestone and he was a minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Wise and Bobby Lewis; daughter, Verna Kay Davis; grandchildren, Emmastine Davis, Thomas Williams Davis, Breona Davis, Bryan Bailey.

Davis, Burla

Burla Davis, age 88, of Perryville, AR died Thursday, August 20, 1998 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Morrilton, AR. She was a daughter of the late Denk and Maudie Wells Bittle and was born at Nimrod. She was the widow of Milton Davis, a retired nurse's aide and cook. She received a teaching certificate upon completion of the eighth grade. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary at Plainview and a Methodist. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Tula Schlinker, Bela McDaniel and Zula Rhone.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Kenneth Davis and Terry Milton Davis both of Nimrod and Ervin Darrell Davis of O'Fallen, MO; two daughters, Peggy Sue Byers of Morrilton and Anna Billingsley of Perryville, AR; a brother, Zeron "Red" Bittle of Ola, AR; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service was August 22, 1998 at Nimrod Baptist Church with Dusty Day officiating. Burial was in the Nimrod Cemetery. Charles Davis, age 82, of Havana, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born December 18, 1927, at Waveland, AR to the late Vernon "Bun" and Ruby Lena Burrows Davis. He was a propane gas and butane company manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Raymond "Frog" Davis, a sister-in-law, Esther Davis, and a brother-in-law, Shirley Shott.

Clynon Davis age 80 of Dardanelle died Monday, January 6, 2014 at his home. He was born October 14, 1933 at Dardanelle to the late Earl and Lovaria Dickens Davis. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Dardanelle. He loved to hunt, fish, read and go for long walks.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nelsie Thompson; one brother, Eual Davis.

Survivors include his aunt, Gladys Richardson of Dardanelle; one brother-in-law, Isadore Thompson of Dardanelle; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial was in Sweet Home Cemetery. Davis, Danny Allen

Danny Allen Davis, age 61, died Friday, September 21, 2007 at his home in New Blaine. He was born September 9, 1946 to the late James Wallace and Dorotha Faye Robinson Davis in Paris, AR. He was a member and former commander of the VFW Post 8383 of New Blaine. He graduated high school at Camdenton High School, Camdenton, MO. He was associated with the First Baptist Church at Delaware. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam, serving for the United States Army, where he received a bronze star and other medals during his service.

He is preceded in death by four brothers, Roy Davis, Joe Bill Davis, Bob Davis, and Glendle Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Colleen Davis; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Brian Crowe of Dardanelle, Cheryl and Steve Ivey; son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Cheryl Davis both of New Blaine; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Dixie Davis of New Blaine, Johnny and Naomi Davis of Harrison; Sisters and Brother-in-law, Sula Faye Appleton of Paris, Betty Sue and Leo Gregory of Independence, MO; four grandchildren and twins on the way; numerous other family and friends.

Funeral services were held September 24, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Delaware with Brother Wylie Jones officiating. Interment was at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery.
