Casey, Bobbie Jean "Jean" (Yarber)

Mrs Bobbie "Jean" Jean Casey April 30, 1928 - July 6, 2013 Bobbie Jean Casey, 85, of Lamar, died July 6, 2013. She was born April 30, 1925, Nogo, Arkansas to the late Lester Yarber and Sidney (Simmons) Yarber. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, shopping, cooking, holidays and flowers. She was an avid reader and a loving grandmother. She was a caregiver, an angel and the backbone of her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Casey; seven sisters, Ollie English, Faye Dorr, Sue Yarber, Rachel Snyder, Jackie Morphis, Dorothy Reynolds and Ruth Dillion; two brothers, Buddy Manuel and Kenneth Ray Morphis; three children, Maxine Taylor, Lester Mans and John Mans; and a grandson, Mitchell Taylor.

Jean is survived by one son, Junior Mans of Lamar; fourteen grandchildren, Rodney Cameron, Shelia Olson, Lisa Mans, Richard Mans, Penny Mans, Lester Mans, Jr., Teresa Mans, Regina Mans, DeNita Mans, Rachel Mans Courtney Mans, Candice Mans, Curgus "Busta" Mans and Lisa Bridgman; and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends throughout the community.

Jean's funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Holman Cemetery. Cash, Allen Buck G.

Allen Buck G. Cash, age 83, of Dardanelle, AR died Sunday, August 31, 1997 at the Dardanelle Nursing Center. He was born March 21, 1914 in Paden, OK to the late Jesse T. and Fannie Lewis Cash. He was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ and an industrial machinist.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Cash and three sisters, Etta Beniham, Eva Chitwood and Elsie Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Velma Evans Cash; two sons, J. D. Cash of Franklin, OH and Gary L. Cash of Detroit, MI; a sister, Lelah Parsell of Fenton, MI; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, September 4, 1997 at 10:00 a. m. at the Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with J. D. Cash officiating. Cash, Angelia JoAnn (Carrell)

DARDANELLE - Angelia JoAnn Carrell Cash, age 38, of Pottsville passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born December 4, 1974, in Jasper, Texas. She was a homemaker and mother and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved her family, especially getting to spend time with her husband and children. She was the mother of all mothers and when it came to her wonderful husband, the love they shared was more than two people could ask for. She was the glue that held us together and the peace keeper. She was just a phone call away for anyone who needed someone to listen without judgment. She also had a lifelong love for Patrick Swayze, and when there was a family gathering, or just everyday life, she was always ready with a camera but made sure she was the one behind it. She loved playing 42 with dad as her partner, because they had their own cheating signals.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John William Carrell, and Earl and Irene Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Ben Cash of Pottsville; two sons, Jacob Cash and Matthew Cash, both of Pottsville; parents, Rowland and Dot Carrell of Chickalah; mother, Sandra Lowe and husband, Doug, of Lamar; six brothers, Tommy Carrell and wife, Kim, of Lamar, Jimmy Carrell of Malvern, Joey Carrell and wife, Brenda, of Vilonia, Marcus Carrell and wife, Penny, of Malvern, Timmy Carrell and wife, Brandi, of Nacogdoches, Texas and Wes Carrell and fianc , Amanda, of Lufkin, Texas; four sisters, Brandy Garcia of Hector, Annie Ruhl and husband, Nathan, of Dardanelle, Olivia Carrell of Plainview and Maria Cook of Russellville; and many, many, many more relatives and friends that love her and will miss her greatly.

Velma Marine Cash, age 84, of Centerville, Ohio, formerly of Dardanelle, AR, widow of Allen "Buck" Cash, died Sunday, January 14, 2001. She was born November 25, 1916 in Dardanelle to the late David Demitt and Lettie Brown Johnson Evans. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ.

Survivors are two sons, J. D. Cash of Centerville, OH and Gary L. Cash of Detroit, MI; a brother, Billy Evans of Little Rock, AR; a sister, Emma Jo Choate of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Casper, Ronald Reid

Ronald Reid Casper, age 44, of Plainview, died Monday, January 19, 1987 at the Yell County Hospital in Danville. He was a native of Carlenville, ILL, son of the late Walter Casper and Mrs. Ailen Casper who lives in Florida. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, member of the Plainview V. F. W. and received the Bronze Star from Viet Nam.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Montogomery Casper; one son, Robert Casper, in school in Illinois; one daughter Cathie Casper of the home and his mother.

Ronald Reid Casper, age 44, of Plainview, died Monday, January 19, 1987 at the Yell County Hospital in Danville. He was a native of Carlenville, ILL, son of the late Walter Casper and Mrs. Ailen Casper who lives in Florida. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, member of the Plainview V. F. Cassity, Willo Dean

Willo Dean Cassity, age 69 of Havana, died Monday, June 7, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born July 7, 1940 in Havana to the late John West and Sena Dorrough King. She was a License Practical Nurse and a homemaker and mother, member of the Havana Assembly of God Church and attended WYC Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons and an infant daughter.

Survivors include her husband of fifteen years, Bob Cassity of Havana; children and spouses, Orbie David "Davy" Inman, Richard Ike and Joy Inman and Twanna and Loyd Gates all of Havana, Billy Joe and Jennifer Autry and Candy and Prentiss Lambert all of Camden; grandchildren, Richard Kane Inman, Taylor Inman, Justin Autry, Aaron Autry, Mason Autry, Whitney Lambert, Dawson Lambert, Misty Perry and Tracey and Justin Hagan; and a great-granddaughter, Jaden Perry.

Services were held Friday at the WYC Church of Christ with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Burial was in Havana Cemetery. Edna Scheer Castens, age 86, of Ola, AR, formerly of Lafe and Paragould, died Thursday, November 8, 2001 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. She was born July 15, 1915 in Augsburg Community, AR. She worked in Lafe Schools in the lunchroom and was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Lafe, AR.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Deno Scheer and Emil Castens; parents, Henry Dora Fricke Uellner; sisters, Erna Uellner, and Dorothy Ragsdale; brothers, Carl Henry Uellner.

Bert Castleberry, age 83, of Duncan, OK died July 28, 1980.

Bert L. Castleberry, Jr., age 52, of Oklahoma City, died on Saturday, May 14, 1977, after a long illness. He was active in local and state polities and the Democratic party. He had been associated with the Oklahoma Dental Association and was chairman of the committee on water quality, water resources, Congress, Washington and was a licensed real estate broker. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Netropolitan Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Edith Ann; two sons, Dennis and Bert L, III; one sister, Nancy C. Hodges all of Oklahoma City; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert L. Castleberry, Sr. of Duncan, OK.

Castleberry, Bill Wesley

Bill Wesley Castleberry, age 68 of Danville, AR passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. He was born February 25, 1932 in Briggsville, AR, the son of the late Beecher and Cordia Humphreys Castleberry. He was a 1949 graduate of Danville High School and attended Arkansas Tech for 2 years, where he studied business. Then he went to Washington D. C. where he was employed by the FBI. While there, he attended college to take classed to help him, eventually, become an FBI agent. With the start of the Korean War, Bill went into the Army. He was in officer training school in Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri. It was there in January 1954 that he was involved in the accident that caused his lifetime paralysis. After several years of hospitalization, in both San Antonio, TX and Memphis, TN, he returned To Danville. Bill owned several businesses in Danville, including a restaurant and the first coin-operated laundry. He eventually, obtained his real estate license and owned Castleberry Real Estate Com. For the last several years, Bill enjoyed raising steers on his farm. He was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church, was a Deacon of the First Baptist Church and taught the men's Bill Castleberry Sunday school class.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert B. Castleberry and a nephew, Mike Laurie.

He is survived by, his sister, Elouise Laurie of Danville, AR; a sister-in-law, Opal Castleberry of Danville, AR; three nieces, Stacey Laurie aid Cindy Day both of Danville, AR and Brenda Alanez of Farmersville, LA; two nephews, Steve Castleberry of Little Rock and Rickey Castleberry of Plumerville and six great-nephews and nieces.

Funeral service was held August 4, 2000 at the Danville First Baptist Church with Re. Bobby Walker officiating. Burial was in the Earl Laid Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home or Danville, AR. Pallbearers were, Ronnie Davis, Waymon Sides, John Gault, Joe Monroe, Ted Lyons, Bob McCool, Fay Mathis and Robert Thacker. ROVER - Charles Castleberry, age 49, of Rover (Yell County), died Sunday. Mr. Castleberry was a Baptist and a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a son, Robert Castleberry of Washington state; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Callaway of Washington state; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Castleberry of Rover; a sister, Mrs. Camilla Miles of California, and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Cordia Humphreys Castleberry, age 74, Danville, died Oct. 14, 1976, at the Yell county hospital at Danville. Mrs. Castleberry was a native of Rover, Ark., a daughter of the late W. R. and Amanda McBride Humphreys. She was a lifelong resident of Yell county, a member of the First Baptist church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Beecher Castleberry; two sons, Robert A. Castleberry, El Dorado, and Bill Castleberry, Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Elouise Laurie, Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Click, El Dorado, and Mrs. Marie Pickens, Carlsbad, New Mexico; one brother, Joe R. Humphreys, Little Rock; and three grandsons.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 1976, at the First Baptist church in Danville, with Rev. Jesse Reed and Rev. Joe Kennedy officiating. Interment was at the Earl Ladd Memorial Cemetery in Danville. Arrangements and care was by Cornwell Funeral Service. Robert "Tete" Castleberry, age 88, of Rover died Monday, March 3, 1986 at Yell County Hospital. Castleberry was a native of Rovert, a retired farmer, and son of the late David and Martha Mathis Castleberry.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virgie Carter Castleberry; a daughter, Camilla Miles of Rover; a sister, Nannye Norman of Plainview; three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Castleberry, Robert Beecher

Mr. Robert Beecher Castleberry, age 65, of Danville, AR died Thursday, April 1 at the Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was a native of Briggsville, son of the late Beecher and Cordia Humphreys Castleberry, a WWII Veteran, a member of the First Baptist Church of Danville and a retired employee of Columbia Chemical Company.

Survivors are his wife, Opal Duke Castleberry; two sons, Steve Castleberry of Little Rock and Rickey Castleberry of Forrest City; two daughters, Cindy Day of Danville and Brenda Davidson of Farmersville, LA; one brother, Bill Castleberry of Danville; one sister, Elouise Laurie of Danville; five grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

William Beecher Castleberry, age 83, of Danville died Friday afternoon, April 24, 1987 at the Yell County Hospital, he was a native of Briggsville, a cattleman, a member of the Danville First Baptist Church and the husband of the late Cordia Humphreys Castleberry. He was the son of the late John Wesley and Thursday Gladden Castleberry.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Beecher Castleberry of El Dorado and Bill Wesley Castleberry of Danville; one daughter, Elouise Laurie of Danville; one brother, John Henry Castleberry of Danville; one sister, Anna Sullivan of Briggsville and three grandsons.

Funeral services were held at the Danville First Baptist Church Monday afternoon with Rev. Bobby Walker officiating. Burial will be at the Earl Ladd Cemetery. Pallbearers were A. C. Cates, Andrew Jackson (Jack)

Andrew Jackson (Jack) Cates, 66, of Danville died of a heart attack Wednesday afternoon near Plainview as he was driving toward Nimrod Lake, where he and Jim Cox were going fishing. Cox said that Cates suddenly stopped talking and slumped over dead. Cox grabbed the steering wheel and shut off the ignition and the truck came to a stop in a ditch.

Mr. Cates was born in Alabama and moved to Yell County when he was 14 years of age, where he has lived since. He was a carpenter and formerly a farmer. Clinton Cates, age 85, of Russellville died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at his home. He was born May 18, 1926 at Chickalah to the late Henry Edward and Nora Gideon Cates. Funeral Services for Michael "Hammerdown" Cates, 60, of Lakeveiw, Arkansas will be 2 PM Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Sky Pilot and Uncle Sam officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers are Bonde, Gyspy, Big D, Smiley, Manny, and Road Kill. Visitation will be from 12 PM until time of service. Michael took his last ride March 12, 2013, at his home. Michael was born October 5, 1952, at Danville, AR to Joe Cates and Joyce Boviea Cates Moore. Michael "Hammerdown" married Mary Crites July 23, 2011 at Chrome on the Creek in Missouri. He worked as a diesel mechanic in the trucking industry and owned his own shop in New Blaine, AR before retiring to Lakeview, Arkansas to ride his motorcycle and enjoy the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Hammerdown was a man of honor who believed that a good life was a happy life. He lived for his motorcycle club, The Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club and riding his Harley.

Michael is survived by his wife Mary Cates-Daugherty of Lakeview, AR; daughter, Patty Heizer (Jeffery) of CO; grandson, Dustin of CO and granddaughter, Samantha Heizer of CO; father, Joe Cates (Jane) of AZ; brother, Danny Cates of AZ; sister, Becky Moody of OH: and many aunts, uncles, nieces, friends and friends.
